Great day out of Cancun! - This was a great day getting out of the hotel zone. Hugo was a wonderful guide who told us great facts and history without being too wordy. He led us to a wonderful ice cream shop in Vallavoid that was a highlight. The cenote visit was exceptional - great changing facilities, amazing water and just the right thing after getting very hot at Chichen Itza. Chichen Itza was amazing but very very hot. Not for the faint of heart. We loved learning about the authentic coloring methods artisans use and the ball game. Would absolutely recommend...just be prepared for the heat.

Great day! - It was so fun! Very hot, make sure you have lots of water. But so cool! Our favorite part was swimming at Cenote. It makes for a very long day, so prepare for that. But the entire experience was lovely.

Great experience - Our tour guide was Cesar and he was great. He gave us a great tour of Chichen Itza. He gave us a lot of information on the area and the Mayan people. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone interested in visiting the pyramids. Definitely take their advise about dressing cool and comfortable closed toe shoes. Cenote was nice food for lunch could have been a better selection not very flavorful. Tequila tasting and the city tour was nice.

Worth It! - The whole experience was worth the money! My wife and I enjoyed learning the culture, seeing the sites, tasting the food, desserts, & the authentic tequila was amazing! Cesar & Luis were great, recommend through Sat Mexico! 🇲🇽

Wow! - Okay the tour itself and all the stops were phenomenal, as was our tour guide Luis. However, I want to call out an extra special THANK YOU to the company itself. My family and I were tired after the long day of travel and exploring, we went to exit the bus, thinking we had everything off we went. It turns out our bag of souvenirs had rolled out and under our seat. We realized later. The company stayed in touch with us and was able to return the items to our resort the following day. If the souvenirs had simply been trinkets, maybe we could have lost them, of well. But we had bought some traditional Mayan black obsidian and had it blessed by a shaman; this was a highlight of our trip. So grateful for this company!

Bad customer service/guide - Felt like a tourist trap and a very long trip. Unnecessary stops to purchase items from his “trusted” spots. Felt like the tour guide, Luis, had a business with the stores and places we visited so that we would fall into purchasing items from them. Tour guide started tour very aggravated saying that if we asked questions a second time then he would charge us for the tour again.. it was supposed to be funny? But he seemed aggravated and upset. Someone must’ve pissed him off before? He also was always in a rush when asked questions. My mom was trying to ask him a question and he was rude and ignored her and walked away. Then at the end of the ride, he went on about tips for him and the driver and how their family depended on it and spent a good 5-10 min talking about it which if he had been nice then I wouldn’t care. We were walking out of the bus at the end of the tour and I said, “goodnight, thank you for everything” and he didn’t even ven look up. He just said ahem in a rude way as if he was upset our family didn’t tip. Would NOT recommend ever

Mayan ruins excursion - While the visit to the ruins and the guides knowledge were excellent, after that it went down hill. The next stop was the cenote and buffet lunch. The buffet lunch was terrible, close to inedible for most of the food. The next stop was a small colonial town where we were left to wander on our own, so no guide and historical commentary. Every step of the way vendors were pushing their wares. One last issue, the description said 11 hour trip, but it ended up being 13.5 hours. If the trip had been just the ruins it would have been very good.

Poor service/coordination - Poor coordination and communication from the tour operator resulted in a completely unacceptable experience. The meeting point instructions provided at the time of booking were changed the morning of the tour at 6:04 AM, just 26 minutes before the scheduled 6:30 AM pickup. The day before the excursion, I had also proactively reached out to the operator to confirm the meeting point and clarify the location in relation to our Airbnb. We never received a response. Because of these last-minute changes and the lack of communication, my sister and I were left stranded for over 45 minutes incurred additional parking expenses, and ultimately missed the entire activity. This was not a minor inconvenience; it was a direct result of poor coordination and inadequate communication by the tour operator. Guests should not be expected to monitor for last-minute meeting-point changes at 6:04 AM when the tour departs at 6:30 AM, particularly after making an effort to confirm the details in advance and being out of town visitors with no notion of the city, wifi logistics etc. I have submitted a request through Viator for a full refund, which I believe is completely justified given that we were unable to participate in the tour due to the operator's failure to provide clear and timely instructions. Very disappointing experience, and I would strongly encourage the operator to take into consideration users who are not from the country.

Beware: The Advertised Itinerary Is Misleading - I was really disappointed with this tour. We spent almost two hours at a tourist shopping stop that was never mentioned in the advertised itinerary, yet Valladolid, which was actually part of the tour I paid for, was only 30 minutes. It was frustrating to spend so much time at a place I didn’t sign up for while barely getting time at one of the destinations I actually wanted to visit. If a commercial stop takes up that much of the day, it should be disclosed before booking. The experience felt misleading, and unfortunately I would not book with this company again or recommend this tour.

Pathetic experience ruined my day. - Wish I could give negative rating. Imagine being in a country where you don’t have your bags or passport and you are stuck. We took Chichen Itza Cenote Vallaloid tour with viator - Prime one guys took us to the tour. We were 5 minutes late and they left us at the stop in between - the driver and tour guide knew we weren’t there, we made some friends in the group they told the guide that we weren’t there but he ignored and still chose to leave. The guide’s name is “CEASER”. Be careful, not good vibes!!! My concern is no one picked-up the call nor their contact numbers work. Imagine being in a country where you don’t have your bags or passport and you are stuck. If they would have just given a call / text to wait and they’ll pick us up, would have been sufficient. If you guys can’t take responsibility, don’t take people on tours.
