- Parque Nacional Arrecifes de Cozumel - Embark on a dive with the Atlantis XII submarine. During this adventure, you will descend to a depth of over 30 meters and explore the breathtaking natural beauty of the Chankanaab Reef, part of the Mesoamerican Reef System, one of the largest living structures on Earth. Additionally, you will visit Cozumel’s renowned “wall,” featuring a 600-meter drop that defines the island’s boundary. Finally, you will witness the largest sunken ship in the area, the Felipe Xicoténcatl, which enhances the biodiversity of this Protected Natural Area, aiming to preserve it for future generations.
- Atlantis Submarines Cozumel - After the dive, our boat will return you to our facilities. Be sure to visit the boutique to collect a souvenir from Atlantis XII. We welcome your feedback!

Dive to depths of 100 feet (30 meters) and discover a new world inside the unique real submarine at the mexican caribbean, piloted by a professional and licensed crew. You will discover why Cozumel is one of the top dive destinations in the world on board the Atlantis Submarine! Make an underwater journey to Chankanaab, an environmentally protected marine park, home to amazing coral formations and a variety of marine animals.
- For your own safety, explorers on this activity must be able to safely navigate backward through a 12-step ladder (handrails available).
- For your own safety, the minimum required height is 3ft and 4 years old, for children
- Children are considered from 4 years to 16 years. No infants allowed ( babies to 3 years old)
- All participants must pay a ticket and all the children must be always with an adult.
- Pregnant, without previous complications, can carry out the activity up to the 6th month of pregnancy.
- Access in a bathing suit and / or barefoot is not allowed.
- Pets are not allowed.
- Only 1 personal item like a purse or small handbag is allowed, and it must fit in your lap. Dimensions should not exceed 18 x 14 x 8 inches
- Additionally, a 11 USD Marine Park fee must be paid by person.
- Additional services have an extra cost (photos, lockers or souvenirs).
- Tour operation subject to permissible weather conditions.
- Atlantis Submarines Cozumel reserves the right to refuse admission in case of adverse conditions for the safety of our passengers.
- If you do not follow and / or do not comply with the indicated safety instructions, you will not be allowed to continue with the activity and refund does not apply in this situation.

Stunning and super accommodating! - We had an absolutely amazing experience here riding the Atlantis XII submarine! They were super accommodating for my friend who only spoke English and made sure that she was included at every single point during the presentation and during the submarine explanations and underwater viewing! The experience was also once in a lifetime!

Worth it but… - What a fantastic adventure! It was only a 7 minute walk from the cruise port. Its advertised as being approx 2 hours, however, it was only 1 hr. Still worth it. Saw a shark, stingray & bunchs of fish. Was disappointed the coral formations were without color.

It was fun experience.... - It was fun experience. Had a good time seeing the wildlife and the pilot was able to maneuver the sub around so both sides could see everything.

I got there early and... - I got there early and very accommodating to change time for me. We enjoyed the trip and captain would even turn the submarine around for the other side to see a shark

Very fun, sit on the port side! - Great experience, once you subtracted the boat ride to and from the sub and the boarding process, we spent about an hour and a quarter under the water. Fantastic views and a great crew. Our only issue was the fact that the sub never turned around, so the people sitting on the one side got to see the reef much closer and our side never got as good a view.

We wish weather was better. - Weather was bad. Submarine trip was canceled. Refund was quick. We’re going to try again next time. Have to write more for 100 characters.

Interesting experience but marine life disappointing - Well organized by Atlantis company safe and suitable for children and elderly. Its very nice to experience going down in a submarine.
However, the marine life seen in this trip is disappointing. Not abundant and not colorful- hence the high price makes this not quite worth it IMHO. Hopefully Atlantis will price this more adequately.

Tour canceled - Our tour was canceled because they closed the harbor. I double checked with information and they confirmed that the harbor was closed because of the wind. I am expecting a full refund. Thank 9
