Amazing trip with a great company - The trip was booked through on the beach tours, at our hotel, the beginning of the trip we stopped at the restaurant which is a part of the raft company family as well. Great guides safety , gear and rafts were very nice! guides were very helpful and friendly to a different kind of guests , families with kids and some not as adventurous. river was beautiful and the surrounding scenery was amazing!! Guide Jorge. was great , lunch at restaurant afterwards was amazing, overlooking the river! We loved it

Exciting and fun - The trip down the Tenorio was amazing….rapids were exciting, scenery was beautiful and the guides were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely book this trip again….kudos to Jason for a safe and fun trip down the river!

A great ride - This was an amazing experience Joseph Bridges (sorry if I got the last name wrong) was incredible, we had some laughs and he made sure I was having a great time the whole way. It was obvious he was very skilled. The rapids were so much fun and I really enjoyed hopping in the water towards the end. Transport was convenient and lunch was soooo good

RCR RAFTING @ TENORIO RIVER Costa Rica July 16th 2024 - We loved every single rowing, every flip we did, every fall out we had, every single rapid, even if sometimes it seemed there was more water inside the raft than outside 😊. Team was fantastic (we all loved Captain Oscar) and we always felt they know what they were doing. An experience to repeat… definitely 👍!

Thrills & Expertise: RCR Rafting with the Amazing Lalo! - This trip to Costa Rica was jam-packed with amazing experiences, but RCR Rafting with our incredible guide Lalo definitely deserves a spot at the top of the list! From the moment we arrived, the staff was friendly, professional, and incredibly helpful. The actual rafting trip itself was exhilarating! The Tenorio River rapids were a perfect mix of thrilling and manageable, and our guide, Lalo, did an outstanding job navigating us through the twists and turns. He was also super knowledgeable about the surrounding flora and fauna, pointing out interesting wildlife along the way. Lalo's enthusiasm and passion for the river were contagious, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. Safety was clearly a top priority for RCR Rafting. Lalo, along with the rest of the guides, were very thorough with the safety briefing, and we felt completely confident in their expertise throughout the entire trip. The delicious lunch provided after the rafting was the perfect way to refuel and reminisce about our adventure. The whole experience exceeded our expectations in every way. If you're looking for an adrenaline-pumping adventure in Costa Rica, look no further than RCR Rafting! They provided an unforgettable experience that we'll be talking about for years to come. Highly recommend, especially if you can request Lalo as your guide!

Pure adrenaline. No regrets, and so much fun!!! - Absolutely one of the most fun activities I have ever participated in. This company is incredible. The guides, restaurant staff, drivers and photographers are top notch. The raft guides were hilarious and had a very fun and mischievous banter with each other. This was a 2.5 hour pure adrenaline rush on the river alone. Water was perfect level for exhilaration. The safety practices for this class rapid was top notch. They had a spotter for the bigger, scarier rapids, the equipment was excellent. I can't believe the guides are able to control the raft with these rapids. For those less adventurous (or perhaps more sane), the guides gave us the option to walk around the bigger rapids. A few people did, but not from our group, and we are 61 year old grandmas. Our guide was Manuel. He was a prankster (in a safe way). After rafting, we enjoyed a great meal, served to us by a wait staff while photos of our day played on a large screen TV. The only complaint is that my face muscles were sore from smiling and laughing so much. Oh, and the photographer. wow!!!! Most of the time, we never saw the guy. But boy, could he shoot.

Rafting with RCR - Roberto, our guide, was great. River was a bit low, but we still had a lot of fun. The rapids at the end were the the best

RCR white water rafting and water safari…Pura Vida! - We went on the RCR white water rafting tour and one of our family members also took the water safari and had the absolute best time of our lives. We are first timers to white water rafting and the RCR team comprising Lalo, Jose, Joseph, Samuel and team were well experienced and made us relaxed and ensured that we had fun as a family. The team worked hard to ensure that we are 100% safe and have so much fun. The cold drinks, cut fruits, snacks and lunch that was included is fresh and flavorful as well. I sincerely hope that this review helps all those first timers and fence sitters to give white water rafting or the water safari with RCR a try when they are in the Guanacaste region. They should have the best time of their lives like we did. Pura Vida!

Exceptional in Every Way! - Absolutely outstanding. My girlfriend and I chose the class 3/4 rafting. When we showed up at around 9 at the meeting point, we were greeted by the workers and welcomed to sit down while we waited for the big group of tourists from other resorts. They offered us lemonade (great by the way) and one of the workers walked us through what the rafting was all about. My girlfriend and I were then driven privately in a very clean (almost impeccable) Toyota Land Cruiser with Danny who was very nice and shared his experiences both in Costa Rica and in the US. He also shared some history about Costa Rica and interesting facts about rafting on the Tenorio! Our rafting guide was outstanding and very nice! The river wasn’t the most aggressive because it was just starting the rainy season; however, it was still loads of fun. Nice big drops and plenty of sight seeing! All the guides were very cheery and loved their jobs! On the way back we got to see a lot of the countryside with some amazing views! Once we got back to the restaurant we were treated with a full lunch meal that was GREAT! Salad, entree, and dessert! All included with the trip. To say the least, we have done many excursions in Costa Rica and other countries, but this one takes the cake. For the money that you are paying…we paid ($109 per person)…you get everything. Well worth it. And would recommend to anyone! Excellent!

Lousy drive to and waterfall but good rafting - The rafting and guide Jainer were good. We had a good time but the drives to and from were long and hard. Had o change bus 6 times which made the trip almost not worth it.
