Must do - This tour was incredible! Marlene was our driver and took such good care of us. She was prompt, she spoke excellent English and taught us a lot about the area and Costa Rica in general. Our River guide Brian was fantastic and helped us spot some jungle animals along the river. Our walking guide Iesenia was so much fun and helped us spot 6 sloths, a bunch of birds and reptiles. Everyone was very accommodating and so nice. We took several tours during our visit and this tour was by far our favorite. Would highly recommend!

The best sloth tour - This was the second sloth tour we took on this trip and it was the best. The river safari was great but the sloth tour was beyond amazing. Marlene was our personal tour guide and took us to this unique location for the jungle tour. She is the best and knew a lot about the history. Stephanie was our personal guide for the jungle tour. She helped take and also took some amazing pictures. I was so close to sloths, literally next to them, including a very cute baby sloth. Stephanie knew where they hang out. We also saw snakes and frogs, but being next to the sloths was the highlight. The sloth even turned around for picture perfect poses. It was once in a lifetime opportunity for these unbelievable sloth pictures. If I had the option to post pictures, I would. If in Costs Rica, make sure you go with Marlene. And ask for Stephanie for the jungle tour.

Excellent trip, many animals - It was a very good experience, I really enjoyed rafting, we looked at many animals, and in the forest also as frogs, sloths and many birds, the Guide was very friendly. Enjoy this trip

Amazing Animal Viewing experience! - We took this tour with our 8 and 10 year olds. We saw monkeys before we even arrived at our first destination! The river rafting was safe and enjoyable with small thrills as you pass a few class 2 rapids. The rafting is mostly in the sun so be warned it will be hot. The afternoon jungle walk was a huge highlight, as you have a private guide with a viewing scope to spot things for you and help you take pictures. We saw 2 types of sloths, 2 types of toucans, a frog, turtle, pit viper snake, leaf cutter ants, a Mexican hairy porcupine and more. Very impressed as this was our first jungle outing in Costa Rica! Also, our driver/guide was great. She showed us many things as we drove and was So great interacting with our kids.

Do it! You won’t be disappointed!! - Excellent experience since it is a private tour for your family! Marlene was terrific and allowed us to add in an extra stop (to visit a waterfall - a must do when in Costa Rica)! She taught us about her country while we drove, and stopped and purchased us fruit to try (Yummy!). The two planned tours - river and rain forest - were both fun and worthwhile. Both tour guides were bueno! We saw all of the wildlife we wanted to see which satisfied my family’s Costa Rica Bucket List!! Highly recommend this trip and this tour guide, Marlene!

A great day seeing the region - We enjoyed our day with Marlene, Brian, and Walter. Marlene drove and escorted us to each location. Along the way she shared her knowledge about the area and answered our questions. We learned so much. Brian was our guide on the river raft. We didn’t see much wildlife but still enjoyed the relaxing trip down the river. Walter was our guide at the rain forest. He was fun and interactive with us. He also got some great pictures for me with my phone. It was a great day to see and learn about the country.

An excellent adventure! - This was an amazing tour! We would absolutely do it again. Brian, Walter and Marlene were friendly, knowledgeable and so accommodating tour guides! We can’t say enough about this experience:)

Simply mesmerizing - We loved everything about this trip, Marlene our guide, safari by the river, watching the crocodiles and the monkeys, herons in their natural habitat.

Marlene our driver was... - Marlene our driver was great and went above and beyond all day. Marco our boat tour guide and Alan our rainforest guide were both knowledgeable and friendly. We saw lots of wildlife and beautiful plants and trees. Would definitely recommend this tour.

A wonderful day! - I (56 year old female) brought my mom (77) and my son (21) to Costa Rica and am so glad we decided to do this tour. Marlene, our driver all day was amazing. She is so sweet, friendly and knowledgeable. She made sure we had a fantastic day. She picked us up at our hotel and drove us to the river for the safari by raft. The river guide Durman was knowledgeable and pointed out lots of flora and fauna. He provided snacks, water and juice. We saw crocodiles, iguanas, monkeys, bats, and a bunch of birds. There were some rapids which made it fun. After the safari on the river, we had a traditional Costa Rican lunch which was great. After lunch, we headed to the rainforest for a short hike to see all of the animals we were hoping to see and some others we had not expected. Walter was our guide and he was truly fantastic. He helped to make sure my mom was comfortable and that we all had a great time. We saw yellow throated toucans, red-eyed tree frog, eyelash viper, sloths including a young one who was very close to us, strawberry poison frog (only poisonous if you eat them), and a large tapir. All of us loved the day, including my mom (77) and son (21). I think this tour is great for people of all ages. I highly recommend this trip!
