An Unforgettable Adventure at Vandará – Worth Every Penny! - I visited Vandará with a group of friends and we had an absolute blast! This place truly offers the full Costa Rica experience all in one spot. We spent the day ziplining through the rainforest, relaxing in the natural hot springs, horseback riding through beautiful trails, and even flying down a thrilling water slide. The included lunch was delicious and gave us a chance to refuel before jumping back into the fun.
The views are breathtaking—lush rainforest and mountain scenery everywhere you look. Definitely plan to spend at least 6 hours here because there’s so much to do and see. It’s well worth the money and a great value for everything that’s included. The staff was friendly, the grounds were well maintained, and the entire experience felt safe and well-organized.
Would 100% do it again on my next trip to Costa Rica!

Best tour with amazing scenery. - Starting with Adrian (tour guide) and Carlo (driver), they were both so welcoming and happy to take us on the tour…shared some laughs and answered questions. At the park the staff were all amazing, they took so much pride in the work they do. Starting with our horse tour, they made sure everyone was comfortable and happy. Next zip lining was amazing with our our guide Michael and team, they always kept it fun. Michael was great during the history part. Then the ride down the slide can be rough so be prepared. The best part of the tour was just sitting in the pools in the forest and enjoying the scenery.

An incredible adventure - This was, without a doubt, one of the best excursions I’ve ever been on! The day was packed with excitement, natural beauty, and just the right amount of adrenaline.
We started with a scenic horseback ride through lush landscapes—peaceful, immersive, and a perfect way to connect with nature. Then came the zip lining, which was absolutely exhilarating! Soaring over treetops with stunning views all around was an unforgettable rush. And to top it all off, we reached a breathtaking waterfall that felt like something out of a movie. Swimming beneath it was the perfect way to cool off and soak in the beauty of the moment.
The guides were fantastic—professional, friendly, and clearly passionate about what they do. Every part of the experience felt safe, well-organized, and incredibly fun.
If you’re looking for a day full of adventure, natural wonders, and unforgettable memories, this is the excursion to book. I’d do it all over again in a heartbeat!

5star - Everything was amazing. They took great care of us horseback riding zip lining took us to the Hot Springs with the mud bath hanging bridge told us about the sugarcane different liquors that they used to make with the sugarcane. Everybody was so friendly. It was so clean. It was beautiful. Enjoyed every minute

Great customer service care. - We had a really good time. We wanted to thank the staff that all help take care of my wife who got heat exhaustion. The chair, ice, water, fans all help. Along with standing by making sure she would be OK was reassuring. Thank you

We highly recommend Vandara for any age! Great for couples, families or friends exploring beautiful Costa Rica! - We had a great time! The water slide is fun, not scary or dangerous, as other reviews had me believing. The 15-20 min horseback ride up to the zip lines was a fun way to get to the top. Zip lining was great! The cultural experience and lunch was delicious, and the hot springs and river were beautiful. We saw monkeys in the trees. The staff were all super friendly and accommodating, making the whole day truly a memorable experience.

Action packed adventure tour - It was an action packed morning of horse back riding, zip lining and doing the water slide, followed by a delicious costa rican lunch. The afternoon was spent relaxing in the thermal pools with a cold drink in hand. All the staff was pleasant and courteous to deal with.

Several Costa Rican experiences in one place - Everything was great except the water slide. The tour is organized and starts out with a walking horseback ride up to the zip line (canopy) tour. The zip lines were very fun. It ends at the cultural center, which was fascinating and the most special part of the tour for me. We got to taste local sugar cane liquor, coffee and pastries.
Next we went to the water slide, which is a narrow concrete ditch. They turn the water on from a large valve but needed to turn it on and let it run for a while before the first person went down. Unfortunately they didn't and he got his heels so scraped up they were bleeding. A couple of other men almost bounced out of the channel. I came to a complete stop and had to wait for more water to be sent down the channel. I wouldn't do this part again.
Next was a delicious lunch followed by a relaxing visit to the hot springs, waterfall and pool bar. We painted ourselves with mud and washed it off in the river. Then we grabbed a beer at the swim up bar.
