Book Explorer Pass today! - My family of four went on the Explorers Pass experience! It was lovely. The guide Nicholas was friendly and knowledgeable. The zip line techs were professional and kind. The cooks for lunch were considerate and sweet. And all the other guides throughout the tour from horseback ride to thermal hot springs were hospitable. We had a wonderful time. We came back exhilarated yet exhausted and with a full belly. Thank you for a great experience.

You dont want to miss this amazing place! - From start to finish, Vandará Costa Rica was unforgettable! The staff greeted us with big smiles and made us feel welcome right away. We started with a scenic horseback ride to the canopy area, and the ziplining was absolutely breathtaking—soaring over the forest with views of the volcano is something I’ll never forget.

Wonderful experience - This place was absolutely beautiful! I highly recommend it for families. The thermal pools and the mud baths were so relaxing and my family loved the horseback rides, zip lines, and water slides. Very reasonable price and great lunch as well.

100000/10 Experience! - It really was adventure and relaxation all in one package! At first we thought we had to pick and choose what we could/should do once we got to the jungle retreat, but no, we got to experience it ALL! The plan and timing of each activity was perfect. We road horses up the mountain with a true sabanero; where our amazing guide, Michael, was waiting for us and ready to get us zip lining down the mountain. It was my first time, and I’m terrified of heights, but I felt extremely safe and the gorgeous views made it all worth it!! Once we were done with that, we got to experience and sample some staples of Costa Rican culture and meet the biggest, sweetest Ox. Following that, the water slide was awesome and a great way to cool down. The kids in our group got to go down twice and LOVED it! It’s long, fast, and very fun! Then the relaxation started… a delicious traditional casado with some other yummy side options as well so there was good food for everyone — even picky eaters. We ended the day with the mud bath, rinsed off under a WATERFALL (!!!) and then spent time relaxing in the man made hot springs (still natural hot spring water) under the jungle canopy. It was a truly beautiful way to experience the nature of the Costa Rican landscape and spend time with some truly amazing Costa Rican people.

You won’t regret it!! - Totally worth it! This was our first time here. We did the zip line, cultural experience and water slide due to our late arrival time and because it is was a two hour drive back to our resort. The drive from Liberia was easy and full of sights. Once we arrived, the staff was very welcoming. My wife and I were paired up with Damian and Francisco for the zip line tour. Both of these guys were awesome! Both had a great sense of humor, knowledgeable (not only about the zip lines but Costa Rica in general.), and patient.
We did the Cultural Center with our host Jose. Such an interesting experience! We learned about how the processed sugar cane, made alcohol and backed good back in the old days. We got to try samples too!
The water slide was next. The overall experience was fast. Like really fast but the water was very refreshing.
Highly recommend this place.

An amazing time! - This was a fabulous day! We arrived late due to our early morning flight being delayed. The staff messaged making sure we were still joining them and greeted us by name when we arrived. The staff kept track of us, making sure we got to do all that we wanted. Everyone was so polite, introduced themselves and called us by name.
We started with the zip line. Damian and Francisco made it an amazing experience. This was our fourth zip line experience and my husband and I agreed the best yet. There were 8 lines, several long and fast. The views were amazing and their braking system was painless.
We then moved onto the cultural center with Jose. We had no idea we’d enjoy the experience as much as we did! We learned a lot about Costa Rica, its people and products. The tastings were amazing! The baker made delicious goods.
We then did the waterslide. It was very fun and refreshing!
We moved onto to the delicious lunch where Mario took great care of us. Everything was homemade and tasted so good.
We skipped a few things because we needed to get checked into our resort, but everyone we encountered said how wonderful it all was. We were sad to leave.

The Perfect Adventure Day - The views, the landscape, the scenery, it was all perfect the staff was so kind and funny to me and my family, especially on the Ziplines and I would LOVE to come back here again when I’m older.
