• Jasper National Park of Canada - Embark on an unforgettable adventure by climbing a frozen waterfall. This exciting, safe, and exhilarating experience allows you to explore areas that are usually off-limits to most park visitors.

This six-hour tour starts at our Jasper office, where you will meet your guide and receive your gear. We then head to our climbing location: Maligne Canyon, Tangle Falls, or Edge of the World, depending on the weather conditions.

Upon arrival, your guide will instruct you on techniques, safety, and equipment usage. Then, it’s time to climb!

All technical gear is provided (boots, crampons, harnesses, axes, helmet).
Dress in winter clothing and multiple layers (similar to what you would wear at a ski resort).
Transportation is included from town to the climbing site and back.
All tours depart from the Rockaboo office (610 Patricia Street – upstairs). We kindly ask participants to be ready to leave at the scheduled start time – we want to climb, not linger at the office!

Embark on a memorable journey climbing an icy waterfall. This 6-hour expedition takes an intrepid team deep into Jasper’s Maligne Canyon in pursuit of iced walls and concealed wonders. You will traverse sections of the canyon that remain unexplored by most park visitors. Your thrilling yet safe adventure launches and concludes at the tour center situated in the heart of Jasper. Local accredited guides guarantee your safety while you descend and ascend frozen waterfalls at several breathtaking spots. Novices are welcomed! There’s no need for prior experience.
