Well worth it - Our guide, Rosa, was brilliant despite very trying circumstances. It was cold and raining incredibly hard the whole time, but she managed to keep us so well informed and entertained that we stuck with it, massive puddles and all.

Entertaining Educational Alumni Walking Tour - We spent the day in Cambridge today and purchased a two hour tour with Kings College. Henry was our most excellent guide. He was an alumni of the university with a music degree. He had a great flair for the dramatic and made the tour fun and interesting. I think it’s worth it for the Kings College admission just to see the chapel. Also if possible attend the daily free Evensong service with a beautiful chorus. Henry performs with the chorus as well.

If you are new in Cambridge, do the tour first! - The tour gave us the initial impressions of some of the colleges and an insight of their long and rich history. We are glad that we did this tour at the start of our visit because it allowed us to plan what to do next and which colleges to see in more detail. Our tour guide Rosa was excellent - very friendly and knowledgeable of the subject! It was also great that she is a current student - she answered all our questions about life of a Cambridge uni student which we very much appreciated! Would definitely recommend this tour and Rosa as the guide! PS - don’t miss the Evensong at King’s College chapel - it’s beautiful and it’s free!
