Great walking tour of Cambridge - Tony Rodger’s provided a very informative and entertaining walking tour of Cambridge full of history and fun. We got lucky and enquired about tours at the Visitor Centre just before he was starting a tour and he called in to pick us up to join the tour. He also provided a discount voucher for use at the Eagle Pub, which we gladly used.

90 minutes flew by - Three of us joined Johnny for one of the public tours of Historic Cambridge. We all agreed that Johnny was constantly interesting; easy to listen to; and, in 90 minutes, managed to treat us to a kaleidoscope of history, geography, tradition, economics, and sensational stories. Who knew, for instance, how it was that Cambridge was once a seaport on the North Sea; or in which house the public hangman had his lodgings when visiting the City in the 1800s?; or that Trinity College owns the O2 Dome in London; or on the roof of which prominent building, in 1958, for a lark, students parked a car, and left the authorities to work out how to get it down? A guidede tour in Cambridge - We had a guided tour in Cambridge with a wonderful guide Mr. Tony Rodgers. The tour was exiting and spiced up with good humor we enjoyed the tour. It is definitely recommendable.
