Unforgettable Sunset Tour of Kampong Phluk - We had an incredible experience visiting the Kampong Phluk stilted homes on the Tonle Sap during the sunset tour. Our guide was extremely helpful, sharing insights about the daily lives of the villagers and the unique culture of the community. The boat ride through the floating village was fascinating, and it gave us a real sense of connection with the people who call this remarkable place home. Seeing how families live and work on the water was both humbling and inspiring. As the day came to an end, we were treated to the most stunning sunset views over the Tonle Sap. The sky was painted with vibrant colors, and it was truly a magical moment that will stay with us forever. This tour gave us so much more than just beautiful scenery—it gave us cultural perspective, meaningful interactions, and a glimpse into a way of life that is both unique and resilient. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Cambodia!

Relaxing day on the water. - A very relaxing day on the water. We got to do some ecotourism and experience life on the ground of the “floating villages.” I recommend you bring some cash as not all places take card. My guide was Nan and he was friendly and helpful.

Nice tour to get a glimpse of village life - Our guide Nan is friendly, well spoken and gave a run down throughout the tour history of the village and how the lake ecosystem works. It's a drive out but along the way you gey to enjoy the countryside. The Kampong is a must see and I believe regardless of during dry or wet season, it presents a different experience We were there during the low and start of wet season, so we were able to walk in the village to get a glimpse of the life of the fishermen. We were also able to visit the school there while kids were having classes. One recommendation is if you are up for charitable causes, you can either buy stationeries from the peddlers there at US$5 a set of exercise books and pencils or else bring your own in advance to distribute to the kids. We also bought lollies from the village shop to distribute. It's not expensive and I think it's a cycle effect, you help the business and the kids get the delights.

Highly recommend Konpong Phluk village - I travel solo, somehow for the this floating village I joined a group trip. Mr Nan was my guide and he is very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable guide. During the entire trip he really care of me, explaining each and every thing like- how people live on this floating village, what they eat and drink, what they do, about school, kids, temple, hospital and many more things the talk about. It’s was cloudy so I missed the sunset but overall it was a great trip. Really appreciate Nan’s company. Whoever going to this Kompang village I Bajrang highly recommend.

Guide is great - Nan was a great guide! He knew a lot about the area and was very entertaining. I learned a lot. We stopped at a restaurant and I got to try crocodile meat which was really cool. The meal is not included but that was expected because the page clearly says that food is extra. You also could pay an extra $5.50 for a row boat ride after seeing the floating village
