Undoubtedly one of the most important museums you should visit - I had an extraordinary experience at the Egyptian Museum of Civilization. Its collection ranges from prehistory to the modern era, with real mummies, everyday artifacts and cultural treasures. Each room immerses you in the evolution of Egypt, offering a complete overview of its fascinating history. Highly recommended!

A Majestic Journey Through Egyptian Civilization. - It stands out for its very important collection of royal mummies, very well explained. A modern museum that tells the story of Egypt in a striking way.

AMAZING - Modern and grand museum, not excessive but full of absolutely wonderful pieces. But the jewel of this museum, are undoubtedly THE MUMMIES. Indescribable, impressive, mandatory visit.

The mummy room was amazing. - I came after visiting the Valley of the Kings, the pyramids and a number of ruins, and I was impressed by how wonderful the exhibits were still. Egyptian civilization is terrible. I've seen the Egyptian Archaeological Museum, the pre-opening Grand Egyptian Museum, and I think this was the most spectacular. (I don't know if it will be when the Grand Egyptian Museum is fully open.) The mummy room is a sight to behold, so make sure to visit!

Best Museum - It was one the beautiful places that I visited. It was something nice to see the mummies there. It also has a good place to eat in.

Great. - Excellent place to evidence the evolution of different cultures in Egypt, the mummies area is great, the place they deserve, previously in the cairo museum was not appreciated as it should be.

Meet some of the most famous people in history!! I was deeply moved. - I had time on the day to go sightseeing in Cairo Giza and Luxor and return from the Cairo airport, so at the suggestion of my guide, who had helped me with my travel up to that point, I decided to make a quick visit with him. I'm glad I visited. There were a lot of interesting exhibits on the ground floor, but most of all here is the display of over 20 mummies in the basement (although unfortunately you can't photograph them). I've seen so many pyramids, tombs and stone statues, but I'm not sure I'll ever come face to face with them at the end of my trip! Ramses II, Queen Hatshepsut…these guys I’ve seen so much in Giza and Luxor! The last time I happened to visit here was at the end of the trip, but the last time I came face-to-face with him was another touching experience.

Very well exposed mummies - It is a very interesting museum as far as mummies go, very well exposed everything. At the top there is a good tour of the different times of Egypt. It doesn't contain much else.

Nice but organized a bit badly - Nice museum very interesting, there are archaeological finds, tombs, sculptures, there is also the famous golden mask of Tutankhamun, too bad that the objects seem put a bit 'at random and that there are several empty cases, should be reviewed a bit'.

Worth a visit - This museum represents the "new course" of Egypt. A modern structure, which makes a bit 'of the Louvre with the two opposing pyramids, and tells in a sort of bignami, the history of Egypt of the ancient Kingdom up to the present day, embracing the crypt that houses the Royal Mummies. Overall it is a pharaonic work, with even a lake outside. Worth a visit
