Very informative. A very great civilization. - Excellent guide. Water is required in case of high heat. And the round trip provided by car is appreciated. All that is missing are tips and their exact amount not to be forgotten.

The Egyptian Museum, a not to be missed excursion. - Visiting the Egyptian Museum in Cairo was one of the highlights of our first trip to this incredible city. After exploring the pyramids, Saqqara, and Memphis, the museum really brought everything together, helping us connect the dots and see the full picture of Egypt’s fascinating history. Walking through its galleries felt like stepping back thousands of years, with treasures from every era of ancient Egyptian civilization on display.
One of the most unforgettable moments was seeing the treasures of Tutankhamen. Standing before his golden mask and the intricate objects found in his tomb was simply breathtaking. Photographs and documentaries cannot capture the sheer beauty, craftsmanship, and aura of these artifacts. For us, it was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to witness the most famous discovery in Egyptology up close, and it gave us a real sense of the richness of ancient Egyptian culture.
A huge part of what made the experience so special was our guide, Ahmed from Ahmed Ghanem Travel Guide. His knowledge, storytelling, and passion for Egypt’s heritage brought each artifact to life. He patiently explained the significance of pieces we might otherwise have walked past, and his ability to weave history into a clear narrative made the visit both educational and unforgettable.
Our driver, Abdo, also deserves mention—navigating Cairo’s busy streets with calm confidence, he ensured our journey was smooth and stress-free. Together, Ahmed and Abdo made the day effortless and enjoyable.
If you’re visiting Cairo, we cannot recommend the Egyptian Museum enough, and having Ahmed as your guide truly elevates the experience. It was an eye-opening and enriching visit that perfectly tied together everything we had seen on our Egyptian adventure.

A Very Cool Classic Museum - So … first thing is to make sure you know what museum you’re going to as we learned there was the old and the new museum. We were glad to learn we were going to the older museum that originally opened in 1901. The building had a lot of character and charm as well as several great exhibits.
Nevin was a very nice guide. She was friendly and provided some interesting information and added commentary on some of the exhibits.

Great experience at the old Egyptian Museum - We had the pleasure of being guided by Miss Nevin from Deluxe Tour during our visit to the Egyptian Museum, and she was simply outstanding. Warm, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable, Miss Nevin brought ancient Egypt to life with her engaging and detailed storytelling. She had a real gift for explaining complex historical facts in a way that was easy to understand and fascinating to listen to.
What I really appreciated was how she paced the tour—never rushing us, always checking in to make sure we had time to take photos, wander a bit, or just absorb the magic of the place on our own. Her passion for Egyptology was infectious, and it made our experience at the museum all the more memorable.
The old Egyptian Museum itself may look unassuming from the outside, but it’s a treasure trove inside—home to iconic artifacts like the golden mask of Tutankhamun, countless statues, mummies, and pieces from every major period of Ancient Egypt. There’s a certain charm to its layout—less polished than modern museums, but it somehow feels more authentic and raw, like stepping back in time. I’m so glad we visited while it’s still operating in its classic form.
Highly recommend both the museum and Miss Nevin as a guide. She truly made our Luxor experience unforgettable.

Amazing Custom Half Day Tour - I liked my full day trip with this company so much, I decided to follow up with a half day guided experience the following day. My guide Marco (whom I requested again from the day before) was again nothing short of amazing. He crafted a unique experice for me after discussing what I was interested in. Ultimately I told him I trust you're judgment and let's do what you'd recommend. It was perfect! I am not someone who is normally interested in historical churches or mosques be he told me it would be well worth it. He took me to a lesser known historic mosque with no lines, tourists or beggers. He used a connection to get a special "behind" the scenes tour. We ended our day with the museum where he took time to explain everything in detail. Marco is simply the best and I promise you, if you ask to have him as your guide for any experience you will not be disappointed. I know if I ever make it back to Egypt I am reaching out to him first.

Scammed by Hoda - AVOID TOUR - This was a scam that was not a half day tour. The tour of the museum itself was nice, but shorter than advertised. Our guide, Hoda, was knowledgeable, but rushed us through the museum because supposedly there was so much to see. We were done in about two hours. Then she said she had a special treat for us, which was learning about essential oils that were supposedly used in tombs. After a sales pitch in which we were pressured to purchase essential oils, starting at $65 a bottle, we refused to purchase anything. Hoda commented on the fact that we didn’t buy anything as we were leaving the shop, and we ignored her. Then she said she wanted to take us to a papyrus shop to learn about how papyrus was made and used, but we refused because we assumed that another sales pitch was waiting for us when we got there. We made her take us back to the hotel instead, because we were not going to allow her to attempt to scam us again by trying to be forced to purchase items from her friends.
