Private Felucca Boat Ride along the Nile River - This is a private Felucca ride down the Nile. So, you can expect no strangers/guests when you book this. The boat had plenty of seating ~30 seats. It was a pleasant experience. They also had a few snacks and drinks. It was a quick yet relaxing boat ride up and down the Nile

Great views, great driver - Great experience! Was nice to get a boat all to myself and the water was very relaxing. I would recommend going a little bit before sunset to catch some great views. Karim, my driver, was the best I had in Egypt. Very nice guy, spoke english, had a cool car and showed me some egyptian phonk music. Ask for him!

The organisation was terrible and caused great distress. - Advice - if you use this company agree that what is paid for is what you receive and get in writing no extra charges! The pickup and drop off location was agreed and paid for in advance through TripAdvisor. Our location was a hotel airport and it was agreed that they would pick us up at the hotel. We went to a museum in Cairo and the company agreed to pick us up at 17:30 from the museum (saving a trip out to our hotel location) The driver arrived at 18:20, we were waiting on a hot dusty street with nowhere to sit, but was relieved to be picked up. The driver was lovely. We were taken to the Felucca and the guy who took us out was so nice, we enjoyed our ride and tipped well. The driver greeted us off the boat and took us back to the car. Once back in the car he explained that the company had toll him to drop us off at some square in central Cairo!! It was getting dark and we explained it was our first time in Cairo and was not happy to be dropped off in the dark in an area we don’t know and be left stranded. He called the office and they were adamant that we had to pay or we would be dropped at the square. We were being black mailed and after half an hour and several conversations later we had no choice but to pay, which they reduced to $8 because of airport tax (which is 0.60 cents) It wasn’t about the money, it was about the demands when we were in the car and the upset it caused. It was very distressing, we were tired and hungry and wanted to return to hotel only to be told pay or dropped in an unknown location. Very scary experience. Our driver was tipped as he was lovely, it was the company that upset us very much and spoiled what was an amazing experience.
