After picking up from your hotel you will be driven through the streets of Cairo to the beginning of Al Muizz street. Entering from one of its main gates Bab El Fotouh you will walk through this open air museum which is approximately one kilometre long. Many monuments including mosques, sabeel’s (water serving plass for passers by) and kuttabs the traditional schools at that time. Traditional baths and Islamic old Cairo gates like Bab El Fotouh, Bab El Nasr and Bab Zeweila. The tour then takes you to Khan El Khalili Bazaar which is located in the alley ways stemming from Al Muizz street.

Islamic Cairo with Henry - Excellent trip with Henry. Would highly recommend. It’s a beautiful part of Cairo.
The mosques were spectacular.
Lots of history to be seen.

Cultural Heritage Tour - Our walking tour of Islamic Cairo and Khan el-Khalili was memorable. The unique buildings and cultural treasures were exceptional to witness firsthand. Our guide, Hosni was very knowledgeable and gave an insightful overview of Egypt’s rich history. Highly recommend taking this tour

Walking tour in the old city - Νιce walking tour through the old town crossing narrow streets surrounded by mosques, shops, old buildings and bazaars. First stop was a big mosque and then we had the walking tour followed by a stop to a cafe for drink a coffee or an Egyptian mint tea. We ended the tour by visiting a cotton shop.

Islamic Cairo and Bazaars with Zizou - We took this tour to visit Islamic Cairo and Bazaars with Zizou. He was punctual to pick us up from the hotel. The trip will be memorable because Zizou’s vast knowledge on Islamic history of Egypt as well as his respect and his interest on other religions and their values. We took time to explain small details and also included Al-Azhar mosque as part of the tour on our request. He helped us navigate through the bazaar and negotiate during shopping. Will definitely recommend this trip.

Fantastic Khan el Khalili tour with Zizou - Zizou was the most lovely and knowledgeable guide that gave us the best tour to the souk and surrounding area. He speaks perfect English and has a Masters in Ancient Egyptian Language, and he makes the history of Egypt so interesting and accessible. He accommodated our interests and needs and tailored the experience to go to the kind of shops we wanted to visit, and even helped us to bargain with shop owners. He was reliable and on time, and communicated well before the meet up. He was so good that we booked another tour with him!

High quality, personalized tour by Zizou - Excellent experience as a US woman travelling alone. Zizou was my guide for the Islamic Walking tour. He is a fountain of knowledge on Egyptian history from ancient to modern, literature, music, religion, society and just about any question I could come up with. Zizou adjusted the tour en route according to my interests, providing experiences that would not have been possible on my own or with a group tour. In just 4 hours, we covered historical sites, shopping, traditional music, craftmaking and tea in a tiny cafe. On the basics of Deluxe Travel - quick and easy booking process, great price, excellent transportation services. I have booked Zizou for another 2 tours while in Cairo!

Great layover tour and experience! - We had a 12 layover tour with airport pick up and drop off. Our guide Zizou was amazing. The experience was perfect from beginning to end. Zizou is very kind and knowledgeable. He made sure our family of 4 was well taken care of the entire time. He tailored our tour to maximize our time and did a great job in giving us an authentic Cairo experience. 100% recommend!!
