Tour to the Egyptian Museum, Cairo Tower & Nile Boat Ride
The Museum of Egyptian Antiquities - Begin at 8:00 am with a pickup from your hotel by a guide to start a full-day tour of the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities. This museum showcases the largest and most valuable collection of Egyptian art globally, featuring over 250,000 authentic artifacts dating back 5,000 years. Among these is a special exhibit dedicated to Tutankhamun, displaying treasures, gold, and jewelry that remained in his tomb for over 3,500 years until their discovery in the 1920s.
Cairo Tower - Next, visit the Cairo Tower (Egyptian Arabic: برج القاهرة, Borg El-Qāhira), a free-standing concrete tower in Cairo, Egypt. Standing at 187 m (614 ft), it was Egypt’s tallest structure for 37 years until 1998, when the Suez Canal overhead powerline crossing surpassed it. It was the tallest in North Africa for 21 years until 1982, overtaken by the Nador transmitter in Morocco, and the tallest in Africa for one year until 1962, surpassed by the Sentech Tower in South Africa.
As one of Cairo’s renowned modern landmarks, often considered Egypt’s second most famous after the Pyramids of Giza, it is located in the Gezira district on Gezira Island in the River Nile, near downtown Cairo.
National Museums of Egyptian Civilization, Citadel & Old Cairo
National Museum of Egyptian Civilization NEMC - Begin at 8:00 am with a pickup from your hotel by a tour guide to start a full-day tour of the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization. The main Exhibition Hall highlights the four main crafts that shaped Egyptian civilization: pottery, wood, textiles, and ornaments.
Here, you can see the world’s oldest prosthetic toe, a skeleton dating back 30,000 years, the Kaaba Cover (kiswaa Al kaaba) made during President Naser’s time, and the Mahmal, which carried the cover from Egypt to Saudi Arabia annually in a grand parade. Additionally, view the Kaaba key, Clepsydra, an ancient time-measuring device, and the royal mummies moved in a royal parade from the Egyptian Museum to the Civilization Museum.
Cairo Citadel - Visit one of Egypt’s oldest citadels, built by Salah El Din El Ayoby. Here, explore the beautiful Mohamed Ali Mosque, also known as the Alabaster Mosque due to its alabaster stone covering.
Mosque of Muhammad Ali - The Great Mosque of Muhammad Ali Pasha, or Alabaster Mosque, is located in the Citadel of Cairo, Egypt, commissioned by Muhammad Ali Pasha between 1830 and 1848.
Hanging Church (El Muallaqa, Sitt Mariam, St Mary) - The Hanging Church is named for its position above a gatehouse of Babylon Fortress, the Roman fortress in Coptic Cairo (Old Cairo); its nave is suspended over a passage. The church is accessed by twenty-nine steps, earning it the nickname “the Staircase Church” by early Cairo travelers. The land surface has risen by about six meters since the Roman period, so the Roman tower is mostly buried, reducing the visual impact of the church’s elevated position. The entrance from the street is through iron gates under a pointed stone arch. The nineteenth-century façade with twin bell towers is visible beyond a narrow courtyard adorned with modern art biblical designs. Up the steps and through the entrance is another small courtyard leading to the eleventh-century outer porch.
Synagogue Ben Ezra - The Ben Ezra Synagogue (Hebrew: בית כנסת בן עזרא, Arabic: معبد بن عزرا), sometimes called the El-Geniza Synagogue (Hebrew: בית כנסת אל גניזה) or the Synagogue of the Levantines (al-Shamiyin), is located in Old Cairo, Egypt. According to local folklore, it is situated where baby Moses was found.
This synagogue’s geniza, or storeroom, was discovered in the 19th century to contain a treasure of abandoned Hebrew, Aramaic, and Judeo-Arabic secular and sacred manuscripts. The collection, known as the Cairo Geniza, was brought to the University of Cambridge in England at Solomon Schechter’s instigation. It is now divided among several academic libraries, with the majority housed at the Cambridge University Library.
Saints Sergius and Bacchus Church - Abu-Sergah & St. Barbara Old Cairo, a significant religious site that beautifully preserves ancient Egypt’s essence. Located in Old Cairo, this captivating complex stands as a beacon of Coptic Christianity and an embodiment of the country’s rich history. Admire the stunning craftsmanship and timeless beauty in the intricate designs, ancient relics, and sacred icons throughout the church and monastery. Whether interested in architecture, spirituality, or historical landmarks, Abu-Sergah & St. Barbara Old Cairo offers a unique and enriching experience.
At the end of the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel.

Next, admire the Ramses II Statue, a truly awe-inspiring and one of the museum’s largest exhibits. It stands tall and proud, allowing visitors to observe the intricate details of its carvings and embellishments up close.
