Giza Sightseeing Tours, Pyramids Tour

Pyramids of Giza - Start your day with breakfast at the hotel in Cairo. Meet your personal guide and head to the Giza Pyramids to visit the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinos. Explore the Valley Temple, where priests mummified King Chephren’s body, and get a close-up view of the Sphinx, the legendary guardian with a lion’s body and the head of King Chephren.

Khufu’s pyramid complex includes a valley temple, now buried beneath the village of Nazlet el-Samman. Diabase paving and nummulitic limestone walls have been discovered, but the site remains unexcavated.

Great Sphinx - Get an up-close look at the Sphinx, the legendary guardian with a lion’s body and the head of King Chephren, located near the vast funeral complex.

Saqqara - Visit Saqqara, located just 27 km southwest of Cairo. Explore the Step Pyramid, built for King Zoser, which is a significant part of the pyramid evolution from simple mastabas to the well-known pyramid form.

Memphis and Saqqara - Discover Memphis City, the ancient capital of Egypt, home to the colossal statue of Ramses II and the great Alabaster Sphinx. This city dates back to 3100 B.C.

After the tour, transfer to the train station to travel to Aswan on a sleeper train. Dinner and overnight on board.

Arrival in Aswan, Nile Cruise

Aswan - Enjoy breakfast on board before arriving at Aswan Train Station. Meet your guide and transfer directly to the cruise ship for embarkation before lunch around 12:00 p.m.

Temple of Philae - After lunch on board, visit the High Dam, the Temple of Philae, and the unfinished Obelisk. Dinner and overnight on board in Aswan.

Kom Ombo Tour

Temple of Kom Ombo - After breakfast on board, sail to Kom Ombo. Enjoy lunch on board and visit the Temple shared by the gods Sobek and Haeroris. Continue sailing to Edfu. Dinner and overnight on board in Edfu.

Temple of Horus - After breakfast on board, visit the Temple of Horus in Edfu. Sail to Luxor, enjoy lunch on board, followed by afternoon tea. Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.

Valley of the Kings - After breakfast on board, check out and visit the Valley of the Kings, known for its magnificent architecture used for royal burials. Notable tombs include those of King Tutmosis I, Tutmosis III, Tutankhamun, Ramses VI, Merenptah, and Amonhotep II. The Valley of the Kings is one of the world’s most famous archaeological sites, with over 60 tombs, though only a few are open to the public.

Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el Bahari - Visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, also known as El Dir El Bahari, built by Queen Hatshepsut, the daughter of Thutmosis I, who ruled Egypt for about 20 years during the 18th Dynasty (approximately 1490-1469 B.C.). This temple is a remarkable example of ancient Egyptian architecture, designed by Senenmut, Hatshepsut’s steward and architect. Located on the west bank of the Nile, opposite Luxor, it marks the entrance to the Valley of the Kings.

Colossi of Memnon - See the Colossi of Memnon, two monumental statues representing Amenhotep III (1386-1353 BCE) of the 18th Dynasty. These statues, located west of Luxor, face east towards the Nile River and depict the seated king on a throne adorned with imagery of his mother, wife, the god Hapy, and other symbolic engravings. Each statue stands 60 feet (18 meters) high and weighs 720 tons, carved from single blocks of sandstone.

Temple of Karnak - Visit Karnak Temple, a vast complex dedicated to the god Amon, his wife Mut, and their son Khonsu. The Karnak Temple Complex, near Luxor, includes a mix of temples, pylons, chapels, and other buildings. Construction began during the reign of Senusret I in the Middle Kingdom and continued into the Ptolemaic Kingdom. The site was the main place of worship for the 18th Dynastic Theban Triad and is part of the monumental city of Thebes, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1979.

Luxor Temple - Conclude your tour with a visit to Luxor Temple. Then, transfer to Luxor Train Station to travel back to Cairo on a sleeper train. Dinner and overnight on board.
