The Monument to the Unknown Soldier in Nasr City is a pyramid-shaped structure located in Cairo’s suburb of Nasr City. Designed by Egyptian artist Sami Rafie, it was commissioned by the late Egyptian President Anwar Sadat to honor Egyptians who perished in the War of Attrition and the October 1973 War. This site also serves as the burial place of President Sadat following his assassination in October 1981.

The cafe gained fame and allure through Egyptian writer Naguib Mahfouz, who favored “al-Fishawi” as a spot where many of his novel drafts were penned. It became a vibrant meeting place for writers, artists, and everyday people.

• Al Moaz Street - Al-Moez Street is the heart of old Cairo, transformed into an open museum showcasing architecture and Islamic monuments, including the Barqouq Mosque & School in Nahassen, El Aqmar Mosque, the Mosque of El Saleh Tale, The Blue Mosque, and the Dome, Hospital, and School of Qalawoon.

• Bab El-Fotouh Lane - This street stretches from Bab El Fottoh in the north to Bab Zuwaila in the south, forming one of Cairo’s largest open Islamic museums. It is recognized for housing one of the most extensive collections of medieval architectural treasures in the Islamic world.

• Al-Azhar Park - Al Azhar Park is one of Greater Cairo’s largest and most beautiful gardens, spanning 80 acres. Announced in 1984 and opened to the public in 2005, the project took over 7 years to complete, costing more than 100 million pounds, funded by the Aga Khan Foundation for Islamic Architecture.
