Ā must see in Cairns - Loved everything about the Place. Exhibits were incredible. The staff are so committed to what they do which this flows into their presentations. This is one attraction not to be missed.

Aquarium Visit - Paid a bit extra for the Turtle Hospital Tour & so glad we did. Wonderful to learn all about these beautiful creatures and to see them up close. Really informative talks throughout the day. Brett especially entertaining and clearly passionate about all things in the sea, particularly his beloved sharks. The tanks are super clean and the creatures are healthy with a great diversity of species to see. The huge tanks are incredibly impressive. We sat and watched the fish for ages. Brilliant day out (& away from the burning sun)!

Absolutely fantastic & Informative about Marine Life - The perfect place for kids, family and friends….recommended to explore this place prior to go for Scuba diving or Snorkeling, if you’re not familiar with Oceans, Reef and marine life….there is lot to learn and get info about….last section of the tour is fabulously fascinating….

A must do when in Cairns - We visited the aquarium with our two children, aged 6 and 9, and really enjoyed the experience. I loved the way the exhibits are arranged to follow a drop of water from the land all the way to the sea, with a strong focus on the local environment and native species. There were plenty of informative talks throughout the day, which added a lot of value. We also took the Turtle Hospital Tour, which gave us a deeper insight into the care of sick and injured turtles—and the chance to see some up close. It’s definitely a worthwhile stop if you’re in Cairns.

Well worth it! - An absolutely amazing experience. It was beautiful and full of so many animals. It was wonderful to see so much dedication to looking after every single animal. The staff were lovely and every one we spoke to were over the moon to hear we were going to the turtle rehabilitation centre. A special shout out to Cameron in the turtle rehabilitation centre. He was an excellent guide with a load of knowledge about each turtle and everything about them. Worth the money and we’ll definitely be back next time!!

Great, Amazing, really cute turtles. - This was amazing. My 5-year-old was so excited for the turtles and a did a great job listening to the rules and loved being able to see all the large turtles. Our guide was amazing in answering all her questions.

Cairns Highlight - This was the highlight of our rainy few days in Cairns. The exhibits are in pristine condition and the layout, ob 2 levels, is easy to navigate. You def need a couple of hours here at least to appreciate all on offer. So pleased we paid add $20 for the Turtle Hospital Tour. It was very humbling to see how these graceful creatures are nurtured back to health. Go

Genuine Aussie heroes helping turtles - The team at Cairns Aquarium are clearly incredibly passionate about what they do, the aquarium itself is an absolute marvel. We truly loved the turtle hospital and the team there, the information shared was brilliantly formed and so interesting. Tommy the turtle is a true unit with a personality. Thanks to Cairns aquarium for being who you guys are.

An Adventure ! - Whilst staying in Cairns during our recent trip to Australia, we pre booked the Aquarium including the Turtle hospital and were not disappointed. The staff were courteous and very knowledgable, the layout was flowers beautifully and the Turtle hospital was amazing. Would highly recommend !
