Wunyami cultural tour - Wunyami cultural tour was a great introduction to Wunyami (Green Is). Jaydn, our guide, was informative, funny, energetic and provided lots of information on local ecology, ancient stories, and traditional plant uses. It was an easy and comfortable walk in the shade surrounded by nature. Highly recommended.

Wouldn’t be a visit to green island without this tour - Wunyami Winyami tours was the best thing on the island! Nowhere else can you get such in-depth knowledge on the area as you can from the people whose ancestors were here for thousands of years! To be able to experience such rich culture through such an enthusiastic and relatable guy was epic! We really felt the warmth from Jayden and could feel his passion. We were very honoured to learn so much It was everything I could want from a tour. Fun, informative, enthusiastic guide and relaxing. I wanted more! And for such a cheap price! Highly recommend

Amazing experience with Wunyami tours - We recently went to Green Island and were fortunate enough to take a tour with Jayden. His passion and wealth of knowledge he so expertly shared with us as we went around the island was certainly a highlight of our trip. He went above and beyond for our group, and left us all with a deeper understanding about the important cultural background to this island. This is an experience we would a thousand percent recommend!

Respect & Recognition to our TO’s - What a fantastic welcome by a friendly & knowledgeable Traditional Owner to this piece of paradise in FNQ. I’d highly recommend taking the tour and getting away from the usual tourist bustle. We learned a great deal from our guide who taught us about the significance of the island to the true locals and their relationship to the land we call home -as well as finding some bush tucker along the way. Please pay your respect & acknowledge our indigenous brothers and sisters when you visit Green Island .. it’s the least we (visitors) can do.

The clay rituals and bush medecine - 100% recommend this tour for anyone interested to learn about the eco system and indigenous culture; it is a blessing to hear the many stories directly from a traditional owner of the land; jayden carries a wealth of knowledge passed down from his elders and is an inspiration for the emerging generation of aboriginals and Torres straight islands.

I highly recommend - Wunyami Cultural Tour (Green Island) - Last Saturday, I visited the spectacular Green Island, its been many years since I last visited this part of the world. So when I arrived, I had the pleasure of doing the Wunyami Cultural Tour - it was a great opportunity to learn and listen to the stories of how the Island is connected to an ancient journey of two ancestral story-time beings and more. Our Indigenous tour guide and Traditional Owner superstar Jayden, was absolutely amazing and went above and beyond, I also was completely impressed with the professionalism and customer service. I learnt so much on this Cultural tour plus our tour guide has an amazing singing voice! If you want to lean more about the Traditional Custodians of this area, I encourage you to start with Wunyami Cultural Tour. I highly recommend this business. Everyone stepping onto Green Island should do the Wunyami Cultural Tour, its worth it! and don't forget to checkout the gift shop on the Island they have some amazing local Aboriginal art. Thank you to Jayden and the team!

Wunyami Green Island Tour - The highlight of our 3 days on Green Island was the cultural walking tour that was led by an Indigenous guide. He was passionate about sharing the history, cultural stories & traditions of the island. I developed a new perspective and a deeper appreciation of the island, its significance to the ancestorial tribes and the spiritual connection between the land, water and it's people.
