Last minute trip to GBR - Great 1/2 day trip. Ran on time. Staff was courteous. We were so glad to find an option without snorkeling. Glass bottom boat was really fun and driver was super informative, funny jokes and all. There was a smell on the island that I’ve seen in other comments but it was only right in the area of the food. If you walked to far end of the beach, you couldn’t smell it. Super glad we took the day to see the GBR.

Highly Recommend - This was a fantastic tour. The Glass Bottom Boat trip was great and thought it couldn't be bettered but was by the Semi-Submersible Sub Tour. We managed to see beautiful fish, the reef, sharks and sea turtles. Highly recommend anyone to go on this trip. One thing to be aware of is how the island itself is presented. The vegetation is beautiful, but the atmosphere is a bit 'Gilligan's Island'. If you can overlook this you'll have a great experience.

Great option to see coral and tropical fish - Enjoyable trip to see the coral and fish, just what I needed to fill up a half day. Trip over from Cairns quite rough due to overnight weather but well worth it. The crew were great and help many people who suffered a little. On the island I do not swim and not confident in water so to have option of glass bottom boat was great, was amazed how much we could see. Super morning.

Very informative - The glass bottom boat and submarine despite the choppy waters although it was our first trip to Nth Queensland and we didn't know what to expect we were presently surprised and next time would have booked a full day!

Disappointing overall - would not recommend so save your cash. - I am not usually a negative reviewer but thought it was important to give this feedback so others are aware of the experience we had. My partner and I attended the afternoon transfer. We were advised to attend for boarding at 12:30 at a specific location. When it got to 12:50 (which was meant to be end of boarding, boat leaving at 1pm) there was still no boat. The boat did not arrive until about 1:15, at a different location and a totally different boat. There was no explanation or communication about this change, everyone was very confused.   We left late and had time on the island compromised, and were not provided the suits for snorking (presumably due to the different boat being used). The staff were lovely but I am not even sure they were big cat staff. The island was low tide so snorkeling was not a vibe, you had to walk over sharp rocks to get to very very shallow poor snorkeling, it was not worth getting in the water and had we been advised about the low tide affecting snorkeling we would have saved money and not hired the equipment. I see on the website it has a note about low tide, but the date we went wasn’t listed as being affected, and nothing was advised on the boat/general email coms. I realised half way through trying to navigate the ‘rocks’ that it was actually partially emerged coral everyone was walking on, which is sharp and can be dangerous, and is also not good for the coral which should be protected, so I was a little mortified by this. Overall the island is fine, but in my opinion there are nicer beaches/walks up Port Douglas way, I would suggest save the cash for something else.

do not recommended this - nothing. The air conditional was not working on semi submarine. It was a short trip and we saw little to nothing that was memorable. Very, very disappointed

Worst snorkeling ever - This is the worst snorkeling excursion I have ever been on. In all fairness it could have been because the tide was so low, but I am not certain. The wind was very strong, the water was very low. The deepest that the water got from the beach they suggested we snorkel from, was only about 4 feet.
