- Quartiere Castello - Castello is the main of the four historic districts of the city of Cagliari. It stands in a prominent position, on a limestone hill, about one hundred meters above sea level. The Pisans founded this neighborhood in the 13th century, fortified it, providing it with walls, towers and bastions and transferred the seats of civil, military and religious power there from the judicial capital of Santa Igia,

The Viale Europa which surrounds the south-east side of the park represents one of the most well-known and important panoramic points of the city, from which it is possible to admire the sunrise over the Golfo degli Angeli and the Sella del Diavolo or the sunset towards the Capoterra mountains, without neglecting the spectacular view of the entire city, - Parco Naturale Molentargius-Saline - We will admire the salt pans of the Molentargius Natural Park and the Pink Flamingos that stay in this park all year round.
