Cabo de La Vela - At the early hour of 4:30 a.m., the journey begins with a vehicle ride to Riohacha, the capital of Guajira, where breakfast will be served. Following this, a switch to a 4x4 vehicle will take place for the trip to Cabo De La Vela, which will take approximately 5 hours. Along the way, there will be a stop to explore the artisanal sea salt extraction process. Upon arrival in Cabo De La Vela, and after settling into the accommodations, a leisurely stroll along the serene and azure beaches will be enjoyed, walking along the coastline of the Cape and the town. A suitable spot will be chosen for lunch by the beach, savoring the view. Afterward, the journey continues by vehicle to visit three of the town’s most notable areas, which are several kilometers apart: The Sugar Pilon, The Eye of Water, and The Lighthouse. Extra time will be spent at The Lighthouse to witness the sunset! Dinner will be followed by an evening talk to learn about the Wayuu culture, the predominant native culture on this peninsula.
