Bioluminescence Tour - We had an awesome time on our kayak trip with Eli! He was an expert at guiding us through the mangroves to the Laguna. Him and the other tour guides showed us star constellations and then once it was dark the bioluminescence. The glow was incredible to see and even sparkled all the way back through the mangrove trail. Would definitely recommend this tour group.

This was an amazing... - This was an amazing experience. We went at the 6 pm tour and it was perfect. We found it helpful to have the daylight while we were paddling out. This tour company has a large tarp that they will place over you so you can see the bioluminescence even with a full moon.

A 6pm departure time was... - A 6pm departure time was perfect because we were also able to enjoy the sunset as we headed out to the lagoon on our kayaks (which was a good arm workout!). The bioluminescence wasn’t super visible on our night due to cloud cover reflecting back light from the city, but the guides brought tarps to help darken the water so we could still see some of it. Even if we hadn’t seen any bioluminescence, it still would’ve been a worthwhile outing. Our guides Javier, Yadriel, Adrian, and amaury were super friendly and personable and did a good job orienting us and helping us feel safe.

This is a must! - Javier, Amary, Yodiel, Adrian & Catalina gave us a night to remember. They gave great instructions of how the experience would go. How to Kayak and enjoy the experience. They were very knowledgeable in the environment, constellations and bioluminescence. Thank you for the great opportunity.

Good but not Exceptional - Fun kayaking through an area you would not see otherwise. Neat experience kayaking in the dark and seeing the bay, but when it's time to see the luminescence, they put all kayaks tight together and cover with tarp. You need to hold the tarp up with one hand and use your other hand to splash the water to see them "light up". However, the kayaks are crammed in so the person in the front can't fit their hand in the water without it being jammed between twi kayaks. What was thought to be the highlight of the trip was disappointing so 4 out of 5 stars. Redeeming factor, as you kayak back you can see some of the luminescense in the waterway.

Great staff but disappointing results - My husband and I are in our upper 60s and in fairly decent health. We found the kayaking through the canal to be more strenuous than expected, especially since we had to keep up with the rest of our group. When we got to the bioluminescent bay, the moon was about 1/2 full and pretty bright so conditions were not good for this activity. We didn't really get to see much light in the water after all that work. I will say that the staff was excellent and provided support when needed. They were able to put a tarp over a group of kayaks so that we could see the sparkles in the water in imposed darkness. We went at the earlier time - 6:00, and on the way back, there were tour groups (of many inexperienced kayakers like ourselves) coming through the narrow canal in the opposite direction, in the dark, some at higher speeds than expected. It was a little dangerous and scary. Overall, the IDEA of this tour was much more exciting than the actual experience. There's no way to predict how bright the water will be, but for us, it was disappointing. Maybe I will try again at Mosquito Bay in Vieques on a night when there's a new moon.

It was just ok. - I thought it was ok. The guides were great, but the bioluminescent bay was very disappointing. I'm wondering if they should still have tours as it wasn't very bright at all. We were in Grand Cayman and the bioluminescent bay there was AMAZING and it was every where. We had to put a tarp over our heads to even see it.
