A must do tour to learn and taste Balsamic Vinegar - We learned all about the process, the passion and then we were able to taste the products alone and with small bites of local food. This was a fantastic experience and we loved it!

Passion meets excellence - must not miss for the “foodie” traveler. - Multi-generational family farm/estate producing some of the finest DOP regional balsamic vinegar. Learn so much about what to look for and what not to buy/settle for when deciding on balsamic vinegar. Marcello‘s passion for his family’s balsamic traditional production is absolutely infectious. Once you’ve had an opportunity to see the storage room, learn some family and local history - your host will walk you through several years of hard work with 5-7-19 and 32 year old BV. Paired the local Parmesan cheeses, local meats, a glass of the local estate wine and offer multiple was to “experiment” with the balsamic vinegars. It was absolutely delightful. Must do tour. Enjoy !!!

Highlight of visiting Modena area - Excellent tour. Not enough space here to do your justice look on Trip Advisor. There’s a maximum amount of characters which limits and through review - for short version, don’t miss. If you’re a “foodie” not to be missed. Again - Look at Trip Advisor .

Worth the drive! - Gorgeous property, wonderful in the sunny weather. Excellent and informative tour by passionate family business. Balsamics were intricate and complex, and the lunch (with desserts) was lovely. A few extra glasses of Lambressco (also produced by Cavedoni) was a nice touch. The massive quarter of three year old Parmeggiano Reggiano which we ate essentially our fill of, would have accounted for half the price in Canada! Good value, pleasant and comfortable experience.

Seventh generations’ generosity and passion about their craft - This was a revelation that anyone can enjoy. Seventh generation of balsamic farmers/producers are still passionate about their craft and so generous with their knowledge, product and time. From greeting us like old friends to answering numerous questions and explaining the intricacies of balsamic making, we were impressed. And then, the food began…not a tasting, a feast. Locally produced goods! This tour is a must!

A delicious experience - We loved tasting all of the balsamic vinegars. It was amazing how the taste of the food was enhanced by the vinegar. We had our selections sent home but every time I was in a restaurant I wished I had brought a bottle of the balsamic with me to put on my salad. I remembered how much better it tasted. Also, because of the car race in town no taxis were available to get to the tasting. Marcello went out of the way to get us there which was so amazing. We would highly recommend the event.
