Eaux Thermales de Mugara - Soon after lunch we will visit and explore nice Thermal Water at Mugara. Immerse in our healing thermal water at the famous tourist site of Mugara. Burundi is endowed with 2 major hot springs which are believed to have healing power.Hot springs are produced by the emergence of geo-thermally heated groundwater from the earth’s crust. The temperature of rocks within the earth increases with depth. If water percolates deeply enough into the crust, it will be heated as it comes into contact with hot rocks.
Hot springs are formed by cracks extending down towards the exceedingly hot temperatures of the mantle, and water seeping downwards is heated and forced back up under pressure to bubble. - Bujumbura - Drop off at your accommodation in Bujumbura City and surrounding areas.
