Great Boat Tour - This was a great excursion. Sophie our guide was fabulous. If you are looking for something different, definitely go on this boat tour. You will see a different side of Buenos Aires.

Good trip outside the city - A wonderful 5 hours. The boat is nice, clean and stable. The scenery on both sides of the river is beautiful along the way. The ride back was also very scenic. We got off the bus at the Pacific Arcade, went shopping in this beautiful building with historical value, and took a lot of photos. The staff of the travel company are very experienced and friendly, and their explanations in English are detailed and clear. This tour is a great option outside of downtown Buenos Aires.

A great experience - This tour was an excellent experience. Our guide Yael made the experience even better. She is very insightful and quickly switched to three different languages to answer any questions and provided very detailed information including historical facts. The boat ride through the delta was beautiful. The bus portion was also good. My only complaint is not having enough time at the Mercado de Frutos. 30 minutos was not enough to explore such a beautiful market. I’d definitely recommend this tour. It was one of the highlights of our trip to Buenos Aires.

Great to see Buenos Aires from the water - It was great to see Buenos Aires from the water and then to see a totally different area where the houses are all on stilts. The guide was very good and got the group to the boat in good time so that we could have seats on deck. A super morning followed by lunch.

Boat Ride - Boat Ride was interesting. Seeing the different houses. The only thing was it said refreshments were included on the boat and we did not receive any. When asking the guide she said they were not. Please advise as was that a misprint?

Highly recommended tiger - The boat ride was excellent. The tiger walk was very good. But with food things went very badly for us. We wanted to pay a difference to order something off the menu. And they didn't want to accept it. Poor quality food

Nothing but ... - The best part was a Tigre's building of the museum. Supposedly should be after French. But to me look very much Portuguese. Expected so much more. But got very little. I travel with viator.com a lot. But this tour was total disappointment. Not much to see, not much to do. Guide was very nice. Directed tour on 3 languages. Pick up on time.just not much to see. Skip it, unless you have absolutely nothing to do with your time and money. Dinner was after tour, back in BA. It was good.

Too expensive for tour - The pictures on the website are deceiving. You take a big boat all the way to Tigre with a recording of the history of the Tigre Delta. Then you get in a mini van for a couple stops and then go back to Buenos Aires. There are no free snacks as advertised. The lunch was good, but very awkward because they drop you off at the restaurant and the rest of the group go to 2 more stops. Also, guide did not understand English well. So it was difficult to get answers to our questions. Not worth the money.

It was a nice tour. Not... - It was a nice tour. Not great. No time on our own. And issue with thr lunch we purchased. Guide left and we were left trying to communicate with the staff. All worked out just a bit confusing

Recommend for a family, but needs better communication of details - Overall the trip to Tigre and back was definitely something I’d recommend. Deducting two stars because: - Unclear communications about the specifics of the itinerary left the entire group wondering what the heck the overall agenda looked like. - This lack of clarity caused our entire to be very hangry by the time we made it to lunch at around 2:30/3pm. - Our guide was an hour+ late to pick us up from the location: standing outside of a hotel among groups of other individuals going on various tours. I understand why tours pick up at the same hotels but there should be better communication to attendees as to what to expect. - This tardiness caused the “on the ground” stops at the Tigre museum and the touristy artisan market to be VERY rushed. - Once on the boat, it was great! We had a beautiful day for it. - Our tour guide Fatima was very nice and apologetic. - I think the boat broke some boating rules by charging straight through what appeared to be a sailboat regatta. There were some not-so-safe maneuvers the captain made, and some not-so-happy sailors because of it. To help future travelers, here’s the basic agenda of the Premium Tigre boat tour: 9-9:30am: get picked up from the front of a hotel. If you’re not staying at that hotel, you must make your way there by 9am. Followed by: - 30-45 minute bus ride to Tigre on a highway - A stop to look at the outside of a beautiful museum in Tigre. No bathrooms available. - A stop at a touristy artisan market (bathrooms, snacks, drinks available. If you’re hungry or thirsty, I recommend getting something here, and going to the restroom) - The tour boat departs at noon on the dot. - Getting on the boat, someone takes a pic of your party. They will later try to sell this to you while onboard. They accept cash only, which would have been good to know. - It’s a two hour boat ride from Tigre back to BA. I believe there is a cash-only snack bar onboard. And probably a bathroom but I’m not sure. - At 2pm you dock back in BA. If you purchased the lunch as part of your tour, you are taken by the bus to a touristy but delicious steak house where you choose from a prix fixe menu. You sit down to lunch at around 2:30/3pm. Alcohol is not included in the prix fixe price (which is totally fine just making others aware.) Tip is not included and is cash only, which would have been good to know. - Whether you leave straight from the dock or from the lunch location, you are in charge of getting yourself back to wherever it is you are staying. That all said, I wish some of these details had been communicated ahead of time. So hopefully someone finds this helpful! I’d definitely recommend this excursion.
