An incredible tango experience - An amazing, budget-friendly tango experience in Buenos Aires.
Here is some information about our experience on the night.
Firstly, we ordered our tickets online on the day. They were about £25 each without dinner as we were on a stricter budget. There was a dress code specified on the tickets but as we were backpacking, we wore Birkenstocks and Reebok trainers and had no issues.
We saw other reviews saying it was ‘first come first serve’ but that wasn’t the case as when we were sat down, there were tables in our section closer to the stage that were filled after we arrived. Your table number is specified on your ticket so I think it is generated when you book. We were seated on the ground floor right towards the back but the view was still good - I only had to shuffle a few times if the people in front of me shifted their positions.
We ordered a bottle of wine which was about $18,000 pesos (£12) which lasted us the evening. You could also order food without the dinner option which looked great.
Tango dancers walk around for pictures. We personally chose not to do this as we had heard it would be expensive to buy them afterwards. We only saw one group buy the pictures and they didn’t seem particularly cheap so be prepared.
Overall, it was an incredible experience and we would recommend it to anyone!

Typical Tango Porteño for a good value - Great show, good value for your money! We sat in the back so we didn’t have the best view, but either way, we could see the show from our spots and enjoyed the typical dances. We didn’t order the dinner, but the prices for wine and appetizers were reasonable for this type of show and touristic place. Definitely recommended for anyone in Buenos Aires!

Good show - arrive early. - We enjoyed the show! Six couples were dancing, there was a live six-piece band, and there were a few extra performers who also brought the stage to life.
Anyone who buys a show-only ticket sits in the balcony, and seating is first-come first-served so arrive early to get a good seat. Some railings and plexiglass barriers obscure the view of the stage. They started seating people at 9:15 PM.

Show Option was Really Good - We opted for the Show Only ticket, we arrived super early and they sat us down on the bottom with a table. It was in the back and we had a really good view of the stage. Also, sitting on the bottom, you can order food and drinks. We ordered a bottle of Malbec for $11 USD, so cheap.
We were going to get the dinner option, but saved so much $$$$$, just getting the show and eating dinner outside. Our group of four, we saved $170, we had a much better dinner than what was served inside the theater.
We had Pizza Guerrin, which was a 5 min walk from the Theater for $40 total. There are also many other options nearby.
The show was quite good and the music was amazing. Overall, a very Argentinan experience for a reasonable price.

Fun, entertaining show - We bought the show only (skipped the dinner) and got there 15 minutes before the start so were far back from the stage. I would have preferred to be closer but still enjoyed the show very much. There was a lot of Tango but they also had a few singers and a live orchestra that was very entertaining,
It was super-touristy but worth seeing.

Tango show - Anyone who comes to Buenos Aires MUST watch a show like this.
It is beautiful, complete and very well done! There's acting, music and of course a lot of dance.
Cons:
The menu prices are obviously absurd. I paid 30 reais for a lemonade.
I ordered a dessert that was only delivered at the end of the show and they were still hurrying us out of the theater.
They keep speeding up to get out of the theater at the end. If you're in a hurry to finish, then start early or at the agreed time as the show is delayed by about 20 minutes or more.

Tango Porteno - The music quality was exceptional. The dance was big, on a big stage, very "produced" and was very good. It was tourist oriented, selling photos of patrons. While I prefer a smaller venue, the cost of "show only" was quite reasonable and close to my hotel. Worth the cost for "show only".

Bad. - Bad. A want and not be. A mixture of everything and nothing. Full of foreigners. A lot of singing and music alone. Tango......?. Little or nothing. Dancers without passion. Just technically and pose. The reverend to everything he gives. Shatter the instrument

Don’t get “show only” tickets. DO NOT. - We purchased the $30 seats with no dinner. Huge mistake. All the seats in the balcony have obstructed views. You can only see half the stage and that’s if you don’t have tall guests in front of you. All the good reviews are for tickets with the dinner. Either buy tickets with dinner or don’t bother. You won’t be able to enjoy the show. The show also started 20 minutes late.

Disrespect to the client. - Horrible! We went to see the presentation without dinner. In this case, people stay on the upper counter, with partial view of the stage regardless of which chair they sit in. In addition to this total disrespect to the client, the presentation itself is a pathetic playback theater. Definitely not worth it.
