Our guide was very... - Our guide was very knowledgeable. The day was at a relaxed pace and we were given the opportunity to ride the horses. The atmosphere ar the Gaucho was peaceful, plenty of food and wine. A long day but worth it

It's a nice ride through... - It's a nice ride through the Argentine pampa to the town of San Antonio de Areco for a short visit to a silversmith museum and the town's pretty square. Then on to the estancia for an Argentine barbeque and gaucho entertainment.

Gaucho Ranch - It was a lovely day out to a gaucho ranch. I was a bit nervous to ride a horse but it was a pleasant experience.

Excellent Estancia Experience for a Vegetarian!!! - Pablo was amazing and helped us so much with not only tour questions but anything about Argentina and our trip. If you are a vegetarian READ THIS…. The food is still amazing. We had no expectations, given the heavy meat culture but the vegetarian option was delicious and we are and are and still had to take half home! You will not get “gypped” for not eating meat!!!! Enjoy!

A Nice Tour to Book - Fouchoo was a nice fellow to work with. He spoke good English, and was genuinely interested in the clients. He knew a lot of things , and was good at explaining them. We had a great time on the Gaucho trip. My wife enjoyed dancing with the gauchos.

Excellent and well worth the cost! - Our tour guide Miriam was beyond excellent, knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful!! We had to depart our ship by 9 AM and did not fly home till midnight that day, so we’re looking for a way to spend the day and this was absolutely perfect! I saw a review of someone complaining about the bumpy road -it was only 6 km and not bad at all. I was worried that the visit to the silversmith would be a sales pitch but there was zero pressure to purchase it was just educational and exceeded my expectations! Like many other reviews you are fed way more food than you need, with 10 meat options, three salads, delicious dessert, and all you can drink wine and other beverages. With the exception of two gauchos (the older man was excellent and one other), the others weren’t overly friendly. We were at el ombu de Areco which was beautiful! Someone else complained about the length of the horse riding but I thought it was perfect at about 20 to 30 minutes! The company was awesome and flexible with pick/drop locations and excellent (Carlos) at prior communication via WhatsApp)

Rainy day but we made the most of it - Miriam was a great guide who gave us very detailed information not only about the tour, but about Argentine history and culture. We got unlucky as it rained all day, and weren’t able to do horse riding which is the only reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 5. The team made a great effort to entertain us, feed us otherwise.

Good once we finally got there. - Mixed thoughts. The 2 hour journey was 8.30 - 12.30 after touring BA to pick up other tourists. We stopped twice, first time fair enough for comfort break. Second time at a church and museum for some unknown reason. The promise of all you can eat and drink is true however it’s hard work as you have to ask and make some noise to get the attention. I expected an open bbq but it was a sit down meal with them filling you up on the cheap chicken and pork before finally bring out the beef. We were told we could explore the ranch but there was no time to do this in anyway. The horse riding, dancing, horse whispering were all good and interesting and the guide was very good. Overall took too long to get there and too short a time there.

Don’t waste time and money - A complete waste of time and money. The reviews must be curated because this was one of the least interesting tours that we have done anywhere. Wasting an entire day in a very uninteresting location. The horse ride was the perimeter of a horse field. Meal was adequate but not special. A 15 minute dance and music, very homespun. Sorry but traveling to South America and wasting an entire day was very disappointing.
