We meet at the entrance of the Recoleta Cemetery. The entrance is a big white gate with 4 high greek columns that says "Requiescat in Pace" (Rest in Peace) on top. There is a plaque that says street Junin 1760 (google maps marks it at Junin 1851). Look for a guide in ORANGE.

Do this! Worthwhile! Great value - Awesome tour. Well worth doing. Victoria was a great guide. Very knowledgable and presented the story very well. Many interesting stories behind many of the Mausoleums which is why you should have a guide for this.

Far More Interesting Than We Expected - We wondered how exciting can a tour of a cemetery be, but other friends who've visited BA raved about it, so we booked. We were pleasantly surprised that it was so very insightful of Buenos Aires history, culture, class division, and fascinating eccentricities and personal anecdotes. Our tour guide Victoria was very good and was key to making it worth our while. Touring the cemetery without a guide would have been dry and unedifying. We're glad we didn't pass this up.

Good tour, makes it lot easier and informative on tour - Our tour guide - Marianna - was very good. She informed us on the history of the cemetry, famous people present there, some of the symbology on the mausoleums, importance of some of the mausoleums, eva peron's mausoleum, some of the popular ghost stories. It was a 3hr tour and was very informative and great way to tour the cemetery. Would definitely recommed
