Free and Easy Tour - Better than expected. I must say it is very well organised and informed. It is definitely worth the money. I would recommend the tour to anyone interested.

Small town local life - Colonia is a small town. 34k. Historic district is small and 1-2 hour orientation is good and then several hours on your was good.

Uraguay for a day. - Fantastic experience. The ferry was a short trip and very efficient and comfortable. Walking tour was informative and very interesting to get an insight into Uraguay the way of life and the people. The town is beautiful.

Short and memorable, travel experience!! - This is a good experience, to know another country, if you are in Buenos Aires. A quiet and relaxed day, to know and experience peace. If you can go to Montevideo, do not hesitate.

Worked For Us - Surprised to see so many negative reviews of this service but it worked for us. Booked tickets via UK website. Collected boarding tickets via booking reference 90 minutes prior to departure then 15 minutes to get though Argentina then Uruguay customs. Similar experience coming back. Comfortable seats and quiet crossing. Only negative was the disorganised queuing prior to departure.

Nice walk, explanation of the guide a little extensive - Check in at the BS As port was quick and enjoyable, there are places to sit and cafeteria, you can enter mate and cookies without problem to wait until the departure time. The boat very clean and spacious, has cafe (example a 2usd cafe), free shop and exchange house. If you want seats next to windows try to climb first. The ferry left and arrived at the stipulated time. Upon arrival there is the Enterprise stand to coordinate with the guide. Although we arrived 9.30 until 10 we did not leave the terminal because they had to expect that everyone from the excursion will score. And we finished the tour on the main avenue of downtown around 12 hours. While it was good to do the guided tour to learn about the history of the city, I think it extended a lot. In theory it says 50 min, and they should take it into account since after walking a little more and eating you must return to terminal 1.30 before the departure time of the ship (in our case 18.00 hs). Which means it's less time to tour during the afternoon. My advice is that if you take the tour with a guide you should opt to go early 8.30 and return with the 8.30 and maybe encourage yourself to do the tour alone. And go in time to check in to the port of Cologne because there are two companies in the same terminal takes a long time to migrate. (There were only one staff to serve Argentines and Uruguayans)

Perfect day trip solo or with friends - Very nice trip. Colonia is a quaint town. Everything has a history. Everyone is very nice. You can take many pics everywhere. The streets are lined with tall trees. Just pay with US dollars or Uruguay pesos. Don’t pay with Argentinian pesos, you’ll lose money

Worked but a bit awkward to not have actual ferry tickets. - Basically this was purchasing the round trip ferry ticket ahead of time. But could not get our tickets until 90 minutes before the ferry departure. Could not log into the app.

Long wait; not much delivered - I wanted to love this so much; but the fact that you spend 6 hours of the day trip waiting in lines, customs, slow help of foreigners while locals go through in 5 minutes made the 10 hour day quite a drag (especially on the return Uruguay side back to BA). Once you arrive; it’s cool enough to check off another new country; and the history is good - the town is so small and ordinary; that it just becomes sort of a wasted day. Opt for a flight to Montevideo or wine tasting in Mendoza instead.

Crappy Company - The worst company to deal with. I reserved 2 tickets on June 24, 2025 for July 11 ,2025 and when I checked my CC amount charged was Ridiculous High. 227.00 Dollars for 2 RT to Colonial Sacramento and as of today no credit on my Acct. I sent them like 7 emails and no response
