Aljibe Tango – A Highlight of Buenos Aires - We were picked up at our hotel around 6:30 in a mid-size bus. There was a little mix-up with two drivers arriving, but it was sorted quickly and didn’t cause any problems. The short 10-minute ride was pleasant, and we even met some fellow travelers, which made the evening more fun. Upon arrival, we posed for a quick photo on stage before being seated at our table. Dinner was excellent—truly the best meal of our two-week trip. The empanadas were flavorful and could have been a meal on their own. The steak was a standout: perfectly medium, tender, and lean without being fatty. As Americans who eat plenty of steak, we were genuinely impressed. The Malbec wine paired beautifully. The show itself was outstanding. Two pairs of tango dancers performed both as duets and all four together, and being in such an intimate venue meant we could really appreciate the intricate footwork. The gaucho dancing and bolo performance were unforgettable—fast, rhythmic, and unlike anything we’ve seen except perhaps Hawaiian fire dancers. The live music from the quartet and the young vocalist added depth to the experience. We chose Aljibe because it offered an earlier showtime, which fit perfectly after a long travel day. In the end, it exceeded expectations. Between the excellent dinner, talented performers, and close-up atmosphere, this was a highlight of our time in Buenos Aires. Highly recommended.

Great show, nice food and great service. - Show was fantastic, food was good and the waiter service was exceptional. Pick up at hotel was on time and we had front view of the show.

Dinner and tango show historic Buenas Aires. - Excellent Tango performance. Located in the historic district of Buenas Aries. Picked up from Our hotel, arrived at the location, and greeted kindly. Dinner and wait service were excellent. The culinary experience was amazing, excellent steaks and empanadas. The talent for the tango show surpassed all expectations 10 stars! This event was amazing and a must when visiting Buenas Aires and learning about their culture.

Do not miss this when in Buenos Aires - Hands down a terrific evening. From the pick up to the venue everything ran smoothly. Food was great with many options for all 3 courses. Show was terrific! This is not to be missed!

Tango show with a artistic entertainment to it - We booked this show through our hotel as it was the earliest happening and with kids age 8 and 11 we thought that might work. We only booked the show. Pick up was in a timeslot if 30 minutes and we got picked up at the end. So waited for quite a while. Show started on time and we got some drinks. Performance was great but very loud. Our kids found it a bit too much. Best was the gaucho performance. The whole show was more of an artistic experience so the kids liked it more than they thought when they heard tango show.

Great - Excellent show and good. Note to management - don’t allow staff to pester customers for tips whilst the show is on, it was distracting and annoying as they went from table to table speaking over the music and thrusting a plate in front of customers informing them this was putting tips on. Also the noise from the kitchen, plates being washed and stacked was noisy and distracting during the show. Simple things to make it a very enjoyable experience.
