Plaza de Mayo - The May Square is located in the Porteño Downtown, neighborhood of Monserrat, in the area where the foundation of Buenos Aires took place. The Plaza de Mayo is the most important and oldest public square of the city. The name of this square commemorates the Revolution of May 25, 1810, date in which the citizens gathered around to expel the Viceroy and form a creole government. Since then, the Square has been a silent witness to the most important political and social events in the country.

In this tour, you will be picked up from your hotel and taken on a historically-based tour of the city, where you will get to see how Buenos Aires developed throughout the years since its foundation. Choose between our traditional 5 hs tour, an Empanadas snack to enjoy during the tour, or even a boat ride from La Boca to Puerto Madero through the Riachuelo, to enjoy a contrast in scenery: the lively, historic charm of La Boca and the modern skyscrapers and upscale ambiance of Puerto Madero, offering a unique view of Buenos Aires.

Excellent service and knowledge of Buenos Aires - This is such an amazing tour to learn so much about Buenos Aires! Marie was very knowledgeable, addressed any questions and spoke excellent English. I highly recommend this tour at the beginning of your stay so then you can learn about other places you’d like to visit. Oh and I’d add on the food option. We had some traditional sausage sandwiches which were amazing!

Fun and Informative Tour - Our tour guide was Hernan and the bus driver was Nahuel. We felt very safe. It was super fun and informative. I suggest this to anyone interested in a city tour of Buenas Aires. Definitely partake in the optional street food option. It was a real treat.

I recommend this City Tour - Great option to see several sights in one day! The guide Sofia was amazing, helpful and very friendly, besides knowing a lot about the history of Argentina, kept the group entertained, note 1000 for her and for driver Dina who was very attentive with my group who had 3 older women.

Excellent Tour of Buenos Aires! - Jessica led our tour of Buenos Aires, and we had a great time. It's a nice mix of some walking and then driving, being able to relax and get a grasp on just how big the city is. I'd suggest this for either a one day quick visit of the city, or take this tour early in your trip so you can pick out where you'd like to return to. We had just stayed in the Palermo neighborhood and learned to much more about it. You will feel very comfortable telling your friends and family that you've got a solid understanding of 4-5 neighborhoods in Buenos Aires.

Time flies when you’re on an amazing city tour!!!! - Simply put this was an amazing city tour of Buenos Aires that gave me a better understanding of the city’s history & culture. Pick up & drop off at my hotel helped to edge out similar city tour options. Little did I know that this tour would have such a fun & knowledgeable guide in Jael (other tour guides pale in comparison).

Excellent tour - Our tour guide was excellent. We walked around the city, stopped at key locations and learned about the Argentinian culture and traditions. If you have the time (it was a long tour, but time went by quickly), I would recommend you take this tour before exploring the city on your own. The only thing that would be important to know is that you don't stop for lunch, there is a lot to see, and we ended the tour around 2:30pm. Totally recommend it!
