• Király u. 77 - Join us for a delightful experience as we create a Hungarian 3-course meal (+ starter) from start to finish. Participants will collaborate as a team, with all ingredients, pots, and kitchen equipment provided. Everyone will prepare the same menu, and the first to book can select one menu from the three options below.

While cooking, enjoy tasting typical local ingredients and learn about Hungary’s food, customs, and history. At the end of the session, savor your culinary creations together with a glass of Hungarian wine. You’ll also receive the recipes to take home.

Menu A: Cold sour cherry soup, Chicken paprikas with dumplings, Gundel pancake
Menu B: Goulash soup (beef), Savory pancake Hortobagy style (chicken), Gerbeaud layered cake
Menu C: Creamy potato soup with smoked sausage, Stuffed cabbage (pork), Poppy-seed bread dumplings + vanilla custard

A minimum of 4 participants is required for the class to proceed.

• Goulash soup (with beef meat) - I don’t think I need to introduce this dish because everyone knows it. A soup with beef meat and different root vegetables… Sound good, doesn’t it?
• Savoury meat pancake Hortobagy style (with chicken) - I can recommend this dish because it is tasty, light and trendy. Tradition and new way on one plate.
• Apple Strudel (with filo dough) with vanilla custard. - Traditional apple strudel prepared with thin filo dough and warmly spiced apples, accompanied by vanilla custard.
• Hungarian farmer’s plate - During the cooking you can taste local ingredients (different types of paprika, sausage, cheese…) and learn about them.
