Normafa Park - Trying to escape the concrete jungle of the busy city? Get ready to enjoy a unique daily hike in calm forests on the hills of Buda around the city. During a few hours walk in the beautiful nature, you are going to have breathtaking views on Budapest and hear interesting stories that you wouldn’t find in any guide book. I will take you to all the secret spots and lead you on off-the-beaten-path trails, which are not even known by most of the locals either. During the hike I will teach you how to read trail markers so you can’t get lost, even if you are alone without a map or GPS. I am a nature fan, I will also show you the little miracles of the woods. As I grew up here, you will have the chance to talk with me about life in Hungary, and there are no taboos in this conversation.

A great hike - We totally enjoyed the hike with Laszlo. He is very knowledgeable and friendly. He explained all the trees and flowers and fun stories about the history of the region and the people. A great break from touristy things. The hike included wonderful views of Budapest and other towns.

Great hike - We both really enjoyed the hike with Laszlo. He was so knowledgeable about the history , the flowers and trees and fun stories about historic figures.
A great escape from tourism and shopping. Highly recommended for all.

Incredible hike, a must do in Budapest! - We took a hike with Trails of Budapest and our tour guide Laszlo was fantastic! It was a really amazing way to escape the busy city and see a completely different side of Budapest. We learnt so much about nature and history, not only of the city, but also the forest and surrounding area. The stories we were told about the lookout spots and the people that inspired them were fascinating and not something we’d have ever found on Google.
We are by no means experienced hikers but this trip was so relaxed and comfortable, we did not feel rushed or like it was a struggle at any point.
I highly recommend a trip with Trails of Budapest if you want to see something different and beautiful!

Beautiful hike with Laszlo - It was amazing experience from start to finish. Laszlo, our guide was great. We learned many things about Budapest, hills surrounding it, flora and fauna on the trail.
It was our last day in Budapest and we were glad to finish it on the high note.....
A must do if you are into nature and hiking.

Hiking the snowcapped hills of Budapest - We had an amazing time hiking the Hills of Budapest. Laszlo was a fantastic guide, showing us around, sharing Budapest’s history along the way and helping us through tricky parts of the hike. He took us to two viewing points and although we could see much due to the fog, the winter backdrop was an experience in itself and definitely worth it. I 100% recommend doing a hike in the winter

Fantastic Hike With Beautiful Views - Fantastic excursion with great views and a knowledgeable guide. This was the perfect way to get out of the city and the main tourist destinations for a few hours, enjoy nature, and learn more about Budapest and Hungary. I went by myself and was the only participant on the tour this day, and Laszlo made me feel very welcome. Must-do while in Budapest.

A truely amazing memory hiking in hills of Budapest - This half day hike with Laszlo was the best experience I’ve had in my trip. The hike was beautiful and what Laszlo can tell you about the nature and hike is incredible, he is truely an amazing tour guide and the way he delivers his knowledge makes it so much more interesting. If you are going to Budapest, you need to book a hike with Trails of Budapest, it will be an unforgettable experience

Awesome hike - This was a very fun hike with Laszlo! He told me a lot about the history of Hungary, what life was like in Budapest, and a lot about nature and plants. This hike takes you to 2 great viewpoints looking over Budapest. He is extremely friendly and I highly recommend it! It is nice to get out of the city and into nature. He also recommended a lot of other things to do in Budapest.

Hiking the Buda side - We had a wonderful hike with Laszlo. He was very knowledgeable about the area & history as well as the forest. He even helped us with navigating our transportation to our next destination!
