Step into Budapest’s distinctive local trading world at the Ecseri Flea Market, filled with diverse antiquities, curiosities, and remnants of the country’s communist past. The market bustles with authentic Hungarian personalities adding an extra layer of interest to this already intriguing venue, adorned with eye-pleasing trinkets and delightful finds that never fail to impress visitors. Come explore our eclectic mix of items - from cozy fur hats to remarkable walking sticks, antique furniture, and communist-era medals - the assortment available here is forever changing and exciting to explore.
The market is most vibrant on the weekends. Although it’s quieter on weekdays, you still have the opportunity to visit.
Bear in mind that our market is situated on the city’s outskirts. A public transport bus will take about 30 minutes, plus extra travel time to get to the bus, depending on your starting point. A taxi is also an option, but this cost isn’t included in any market fees.
- In order for you to have the best Ecseri experience, we highly recommend booking this tour for Saturday and Sunday mornings since these are the days/times that the market is in full swing and fully open
- Children must be accompanied by an adult
