Very good introduction to Pest - Our guide Juan was very knowledgeable and personable with a mix of humor. Highly recommend, a very good introduction to Pest sites and history. A benefit they don’t mention when booking is they accept any currency for your tip.

Walk around Pest - Rebecca led an insightful walking tour of Pest, and her knowledge of the city's history and architecture was impressive. The tour covered many fascinating sights, but be prepared for the summer heat. Rebecca liked to walk through some of the unshaded, open areas, so I recommend bringing a hat and some water. Overall, it was an informative experience, but a little more time in the shade would have made it more comfortable.

Excellent Tour - Great tour of the Pest side, our tour guide Sou was wonderful with stories, and anecdotes, and even though the group was relatively large, he kept everyone engaged. we learned a lot of details we would not have learned otherwise and really appreciate the tour. don't forget to tip :)

Free walking tour of Budapest - Our guide Su was very friendly and knowledgeable. He gave us historical information and some funny little anecdotes too. We visited the main attractions and some less obvious statues along the route. This isn't a circular route so bear that in mind. Although the tour was very busy and we were in a large group of 30-40 his speaker/microphone meant we could all hear him. Be prepared to walk and stand for a couple of hours as it is a walking tour after all, some of the group seemed to hunt for seats everytime we stopped!
A very enjoyable tour and you can pay what you feel is appropriate at the end. There is no need to book through any reservation company just turn up.

Good way to get your bearings in Budapest - I appreciate the tour is free (aside from the Trip Advisor booking fee), but we were a little disappointed. It was our first morning in Budapest, so a great way to get our bearings of the city (we did the tour around Pest). The guide was friendly and helpful, but we definitely learned more on other tours we subsequently went on. It was also quite a large group, so a lot of people to navigate the streets. Still worth a visit and it is free!
