One of the highlights of the Sightseeing Cruise Budapest is the opportunity to see the stunning Chain Bridge from the water, which connects Buda and Pest, the two sides of the city. As you sail under the bridge, you’ll be mesmerized by the beautiful views of the city’s skyline.

Budapest Beauty on a Budget! - The Purpleline evening cruise was fantastic! From easy online booking to the end of a spectacular sightseeing cruise on a clean, new boat, it was a wonderful experience! We were greeted at the dock ramp by Christian, who scanned our e-ticket and welcomed us aboard. We liked that the dock location was on the Buda side of the river, directly across from the Parliament Building. While we were waiting to board, we could take beautiful photos! I am attaching one! It was a simple Metro ride (three stops) from the city Center Station, Deak Ferenc to Batthyany Square, and Dock 9A was directly across the street.
Onboard or earlier, you should download the Purpleline app and then search for the Budapest tour on it. Bringing you earphones is a good idea!, since your phone will be your guide! The narrative is timed perfectly, stopping and starting as you approach points of interest.
We loved it! The windows were large, the seating was comfortable, and we noticed tables available. Our cruise was on a Wednesday in mid-March, and was probably 3/4 full, so I imagine early booking during peak holiday travel times would be important. This one-hour cruise was exactly what we wanted! If you are looking for a “booze cruise,” a romantic dinner cruise with elegant service and white tablecloths, or a music cruise, you should look elsewhere.
However, if what you want is great narration with good detail and volume control on your own personal device, a clean and modern boat, and customers who have chosen this cruise with value in mind and are tech saavy; then this cruise will be truly perfect for you!

Perfect. - Beautiful 1-hour cruise with audio guide in a very large number of languages. Catering on site quite expensive but practical. If possible take headphones for the guide via an app on the phone. I recommend 100%, it is a must. Things to do at sunset

Great value for money - Was pleasantly suppose by this evening river cruise. Priced at the lower end of the market I wasn't expecting the large professionally run boat that offers this trip. A modern, clean boat with plenty of seating and a well stocked bar on board. The cruise lasted the full hour and travelled up and down the river between all the main sites. Large windows allowed good views throughout.
Only downside was that the departure point is a bit out of the way (opposite the parliament on the Buda side of the river). Overall would recommend for the price

Excellent night tour - Night tour with views of all the important Hungarian monuments and with explanation and information on the same on TVs installed on the boat.
As soon as the boat starts, they turn off the indoor lights to enjoy and gift the views, without us being disturbed by indoor lights

Cruise without more - Cheap cruise and we know why. Remember to arrive 1 hour early to have a place on deck or near the windows.
Classic tourist boat. No comments during the cruise you need to download an app to have the audio guide.
Otherwise the cruise passes the main city monuments and allows to have beautiful views.

Your trip needs more organisation - The information on the app doesn’t match the images on the screen. The screen is cut short which makes it hard to read the complete sentences.
