A fantastic way to experience a beautiful and integral part of Budapest's history! - Saint Stephen's Basilica was amazing and this tour was a fantastic way to learn about all the incredible details of the interior. We learned about the history of the church, how it came to be a basilica, and how the historical figures of Budapest were associated with the basilica. Don't miss this tour if you want to learn the story of this basilica and and what makes it such an important part of Budapest.

Worthwhile visit - My initial booking for this tour didn’t work out because I had trouble locating the guide. But I called the helpline and they quickly put me on the list for the tour on the following day. Unfortunately, I was flying out on the same day as the new tour. So I could only enjoy 30mins out of the 1hr I had booked - it was still worth it! Petra was running the tour. She is a lovely person with a great storytelling ability! She made you want to know more and more about the history of Hungary as she was explaining everything. She was also very attentive and mindful that I was in a rush. I will definitely book again when I’m next in Hungary to complete the tour and hopefully Petra will still be around! You must see this beautiful church!

Must-see - Always just sublime I highly recommend, the hand of the king makes ask a lot of questions but it is a place out of time and unmissable

beautiful basilica - The history is interesting. Our guide was sweet but we had a very difficult time hearing her. The Basilica is big and not easy to hear in (and I am good of hearing) and the Christmas markets where she first discussed things with us was very loud and we could not here the explanations.

Wonderful church but average guide - The church is magnificent but our guide was not very well organized. He did not have all of the facts available. He was patient and tried to please, but we had a free walking tour earlier in the day that was significantly better.
