Great food, fantastic guide, not lots of food but all of it good - Eszti or tour guide was fantastic! Full of enthusiasm and food info. She managed the group very well. Good timing and managing expectations about when we're getting to what. The food and drink was really good, but didn't reality fill us up unfortunately. That was the only expectation not met. Wasn't too little, but wasn't very filling either. Regardless, i would very much recommend this tour 👍🏻

Wonderful! - October 2025 food tour with Nika was excellent! She gave us a brief history as we were moving along. We started with soup and ended with dessert. Tried all the alcoholic drinks, there’s always an option if you don’t drink alcohol. She asked if we have allergies which was wonderful. We were full at the end of the tour so come hungry. Nika was friendly and knowledgeable, you don’t feel hurried to finish your food, she was patient. She also answered all my questions about other good places to eat and see. Great first day in Budapest!

Excellent tour guide - Kitty was our guide. She was gracious, knowledgeable and took great care of us. The group was big but she took the trouble of answering all our questions and making sure that we were enjoying ourselves.

OK, wish we'd gone with a different tour - Pleasant guide, Peter. Brought to 4 different stops. Initial soup and stew at third place both excellent. Langos was unpleasant, topped with sour cream and cheese. Was like something you'd eat after a pub crawl. Just not for us. Ended in a nice place for dessert, a soft cake with cream. Meant to be soaked in rum, but no rum flavour. Overall was fine, but wish we'd done a different tour. Guide did not send on recommendations in the WhatsApp group he added us to.

Great food and guide - We met the guide and went to 4 places to eat Hungarian food. The food was great and the guide knowledgeable but there was a fair bit of walking and doubling back on where we had been before.

Bring your good walking shoes - Nice mix of history and local eats, however, lots of walking to get back to two places that were located right across the street from each other.
