highly recommend - Our original tour got cancelled and I am so glad it did, because we ended up on this tour and had a mighty good time. food portions are large so come hungry! Can't say enough about our guide, Eszti; she provided such great insight into the food culture in Budapest, but was a joyful and engaging guide, and made the experience even more elevated.

- Laura was a great guide! We had a lot of fun and got to taste traditional foods in two central neighborhoods. I also appreciated the peek inside the Opera House as that was on my list of must-dos for our first trip to Budapest!

Great fun, great taste, great guide! - This was an amazing tour! Our guide, Kitti, was fabulous!! We had a great time and there was lots of food, all so very well organized. Kitti added lots of details about the area we were in, the restaurants we visited, the culture and history behind the food we were trying, etc etc. I would highly recommend this tour and would most certainly do another tour with this company! The first two restaurants were more "street food" and provided things to try that we would never had known to sample. The second two stops were sit-down restaurants and we enjoyed trying the four different places. Kitti also recommended other things (bars, restaurants, etc) to try in the area and we used her list later after the tour. Definitely one of the best food tours we've been on!!

Amazing - Great and fun tour 9/7-2025, interesting to meet and talk to people from other parts of the world and simultaneously try the Hungarian traditional food. Agnes, our guide from Carpe Diem Tours was amazing, extremely kind and very outspoken. Me and my wife highly recommend this tour in Budapest.

Highly recommend - Agnes was great host! - Our host, Agnes, was very friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable about Hungarian food and drink. Really insightful tour visiting four restaurants and places that a typical tourist would not usually visit. The perfect balance between talking about the food & drink and allowing the tour to enjoy the experience. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Budapest.

Full bellies! - Nika was a delight! Unfortunately, the weather was scorchingly hot the day we had the tour, so eating hot food added to our discomfort.. The food stops were delicious and Nika was informative about the Hungarian food and culture.overall a good experience.
