Embark on a day-long journey exploring two of Transylvania’s spectacular castles: Bran Castle, often referred to as ‘Dracula’s Castle,’ a 13th-century citadel positioned on a hill, and Peles Castle, a marvel of Neo-Renaissance design. This day excursion ensures you will visit both iconic structures in a climate-controlled bus, additionally giving you an opportunity to stroll through the ancient city of Brasov.
- Entrance tickets are not included in the tour price and are subject to availability; we recommend purchasing them in advance, as they may sell out quickly.
- For Peles Castle, we recommend booking the first time slot to ensure your entry. No time slot is needed for Bran Castle.
- Peles Castle is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays and can only be visited from the outside on these days.
- If Peles Castle is sold out during busy periods, you may choose to visit Pelisor Castle, a smaller replica of Peles Castle.
- Bran Castle may sometimes be visited after Brasov, depending on traffic conditions and opening hours.
- Children under 4 years old cannot attend shared tours.
- In the event of heavy traffic or force majeure situations, the tour may take longer than expected.

Long day of must see landmarks! - We were picked up right on time 7:40am at the University Square just as stated on the ticket/website.
After we got situated on the medium sized bus we set off for the Pelish Palace, since it was Tuesday we were not expecting to view inside the palace as it is closed Monday’s/Tuesday’s. Our guide gave a great overview of Romania’s history and how the Palace fit into the history. Upon arrival, we had ample time to view the exterior and the grounds, get a coffee/pastry, and use the W/C.
Then off to Brasov, we were again filled in on the history, and the local foods we might enjoy. We had enough time to visit the black church, the strata sforii, and have a fantastic lunch (at our own expense).
Then off to Bran Castle, again wonderful insight around the history and fictional Dracula locale. We had enough time to tour the palace (at our own expense, we were shown the best site to order online, so we did it on the WiFi equipped bus. We were delighted to use our credit card, but given the option to pay at the gate if we wanted.
The trip was fantastic, although due to traffic we didn’t arrive back to the starting location until a bit after 8:00 pm. So make sure you leave ample time to be back later.
It was a long day, but you cover a lot of ground in a day!

Must do - I highly recommend this tour. The tour guide Rodica was exceptional. She was a pro, and was knowledgeable about Romania’s general history. She tied the explanations to the areas we were passing or visiting which brought context to what we were seeing. The day went on without a hitch and the stops, Peles and Bran castle were beautiful, and Brasov is a must see destination in Romania. Rodica was very attentive to the needs of her guests and took care of them. Thank you for a wonderful tour!

Great Service - “Rodica was amazing! She explained the history in a clear and engaging way. Everything was very well organized and always on time. Even when we were running late, they sent us a WhatsApp message to remind us it was time to go. Truly outstanding service!”

Very nice - The tour was pleasant. The guide told us a lot of interesting things - but not too many so that we could take short naps :) the drive to and from the attractions was safe.

Amazing tour for the... - Amazing tour for the price just be prepared to not have AC on the bus or wifi but for the price hard to beat also make sure to buy tickets through the link and save yall the hassle

Finnish people on tour - Whole day trip from bucharest. Left at 7.30 AM and back 9.30 PM. Our lady guide was very nice and professional. Extra costs of 25e for Peles and 20e for Bran castle per person. Felt a little expensive but worth the money considering the whole experience.

Guided tour to Transylvania - Long journey, many hours on the bus. Guide and driver were excellent. History of Romania was very well presented and interesting. I did not know much about Romanian history

Palace was shut so could... - Palace was shut so could not look inside.
Guide was very knowledgeable and provided a lot of useful information. He was engaging and humouros which made the tour interesting.
