Carpathian castles - Ottila was an excellent guide - just the right balance of information delivered in style . A wonderful journey into the Carpathian mountains to see the castles with a welcome stop in Brasov to taste some delicious Roumanian food in the delightful old town square.

A long day, but worth the trip - Was a good experience, although a little more time at each stop would have been good. We actually had a 13 hour day as there was a massive queue at Peles. We weren’t disappointed, our guide and driver Otilia & Florin were really awesome - our guide kicked butt at Peles to get us in the castle sooner then the queue would have. Our guide gave us food recommendations for our stop at Brasov and we had a really tasty authentic meal following her advice. Glad we did the experience however I think the hype around Bran castle is a little exaggerated - don’t believe everything you read on Wikipedia!

The best tour in Romania!! 🇷🇴 - This trip was amazing and we highly recommend it! It’s a full day out of the busy city and chance to see some of the beautiful scenery of the country. All the stops were super nice and you get plenty of free time to explore the surroundings. Vlad is by far the best tour guide we ever had. Such a charamatic, enthusiastic and funny man! He told us a lot of stories and fun facts. He took the time to do a walking tour through Brasov as well. At the first castle he explained all the history of all the rooms we were in, which was a super nice surprise! Highly highly highly recommend! The highlight of our Romania trip for sure!

Almost perfect tour! - The tour guide did an excellent job making sure our large group of 46 saw the castles and town while staying on schedule for a very long day (returned to the city after 9:00 pm.) However, I gave 4 stars because there were 2 guests in the front of the bus who made so much noise that many riders on the bus were very unhappy. Since the return ride to Bucharest was 3.5 hours this was hugely annoying. Our guide never asked them to be quieter so we were miserable all the way back to the city. Also our driver talked loudly to our guide for the entire return trip. The guide in the last hour put airpods in his ears. Wish I had brought mine! The driver then made 2 calls on his phone while driving! I know because I was sitting right behind him. Enjoy!

Brasov - Brasov was beautiful. Bran castle was impressive and very interesting. Peles castle was closed and also under significant restoration at the time.

Disappointing - Brans Castle was interesting. Waste of time visiting Peles castle, not only was it closed, which we knew, but it was covered in scaffolding. Hard to justify going there. Too much free time in Brasov and for the three places we visited far too long a trip.

The only frightful experience was the actual bus ride. - We took this trip on 26 August with our guide Adrian Zaharia. There were approx 40 people on this trip. An hour out of Bucharest our bus was pulled over for a broken rear light. In the course of this stop the police discovered the driver had an expired license. Due to this, another driver had to be sent out to drive the bus. This took an additional hour or so on the side of the road. We finally got going, stopping at Peles Castle and heading to Brasov. At Brasov, the guide Adrian led the group to a square in the center of town. Unfortunately, he was quite fit and many had a hard time keeping up with him. Those of us over the age of 50 or with canes were in the back and could not hear what he was saying. We had lunch at Dracula Restaurant, although touristy, it was fun, good food, cool t-shirts etc. On the way to Dracula's castle up hill drive, smoke started coming out of the rear tires. We pulled into a gas station and the driver examined the rear. He determined it was the brakes smoking, so he filled several buckets of water and doused them. Adrian had everyone back on the bus. I suggested to Adrian that he have a new bus sent as the way back will be all downhill. After Dracula's castle, Adrian told us he took the bus to a garage and everything was fine, it was just a fuse! A brake fuse smoking - that's a new one on me. On the way back he whined and complained that this was not his fault or the companies fault. However, the company sent out a bus without a maintenance check and with a driver with suspended license. Other than the itinerary, the price and sites themselves were good. However, I could not recommend this company for future tours.
