Great Guide, Most interesting tour on my trip. - Our guide, Rodica, was excellent. Gave us lots of history and useful information on the ride to and from the Slanic Salt Mines. Gave us a good intro when we entered the mine, and made sure everyone got back to the bus. The bus made an extra stop on the way home to make sure one of the participants could get to the airport. Took a couple minutes, but I'm sure it made a huge difference for him. After the tour, Rodica guided us to the monestary in old town and then to a pharmacy. She went above and beyond. Enjoyed the small group experience.

Amazing Tour & Tour Guide - This was our favourite tour of our holiday. Our guide, Rodica was super knowledgeable and friendly, the best guide we had all holiday. She kept us regularly informed with the itinerary, checked in with us all and provided lots of information and facts about Bucharest, the history of the country and the salt mines (complete with maps for visual reference). The bus was a smaller minibus, and there were two stops for toilets on the drive which was useful. Only recently opened on a Wednesday, it was not busy at all and we felt like we had the salt mine to ourselves. It was a great experience, and the salt mine was breathtaking. Inside there are toilets, a restaurant, sofas, play areas and a planetarium. Would recommend this tour :D

The unexpected - This is an amazing thing to do and I would definitely say it is a must to do in Romania! We went from Bucharest, a great experience for all kind of groups and ages! If you are a bit chunky be ready to be a bit uncomfortable with the transport and if you find someone with a lot of cologne kick them out of the bus 🙏! Both the driver and the tour guide (Eugene) were amazing and had great knowledge of the ride and the place!

Impressive, but loose guide - The impressive mines, when you enter, you feel what the company of the ring might feel as you enter those of Moria. The guide, Santiago, only gave us a brief explanation of 5 minutes. It would have been nice if you could explain the history of the mine. He was more escort than guide. Outside the mines there was a flea market, and it didn’t give us time to go for a walk, nor did it give us the option to buy anything to eat. It is worth it only if you are more than 8 days in Bucharest, although there is plenty of distance to be only 1:30h there. In addition, the tour allegedly lasted 8 hours, and lasted 6 hours.

Rock and stone! - The mine is amazing to be in and explore. Being in the mine feels like being in a movie set, pretty similar to Moria from LotR. Would recommend to bring food and drinks and enjoy a meal down there as most locals do. The road trip to and from the mine is pretty tiring.
