Great day tour - We had a great day out in the salt mine, lunch place, and in the tomb with our tour guide Laura. She had a lot of knowledge to share and, as we had a private tour, she was very accommodating to our wishes.

Great relaxing tour away from the big crowds - Laura was just the best guide and we had a very enjoyable day away from the crowds. Salt mines were interesting and casual, lunch was fantastic and the monastery one of the highlights on the visit to Romania. Laura gave great details and history, was flexible on timing for our small group (5 ppl).

Amazing salt mines !!! - The experience was great with Bogdan. He explained many things about mines.... By the way spectacular, huge, you have to see them... he took us to eat at a winery where we tasted typical Romanian food with clear Romanian wine. Finally we saw the Tomb of Vlad the Impaler giving us an explanation of how he ended up there. A very good experience.

Deep into the earth - Descending into the cool, massive chambers carved deep into the earth felt like entering another world. The air is incredibly clean—some even say therapeutic—and the sheer scale of the galleries is awe-inspiring. We stopped for lunch at Casa Seșciu, a rustic and charming restaurant nestled in the countryside. The ambiance was warm and welcoming, with traditional decor and a peaceful outdoor terrace. The food was a highlight—fresh, authentic Romanian dishes with a modern twist. Our final stop was Snagov Monastery, a small island monastery shrouded in legend, said to be the final resting place of Vlad the Impaler (the inspiration for Dracula). The setting is tranquil and picturesque, surrounded by the waters of Snagov Lake. The monastery itself is small but rich in atmosphere and history, with beautiful frescoes and a deep sense of serenity. Whether you're a history enthusiast or just appreciate peaceful places, it's worth the visit.

A unique experience 😃 - The tour with Bogdan was just a very nice experience, we were both lucky to have a private room with him as they decided to do the tour despite lack of participation🤩 Bogdan is a very dedicated guide and class type and should we come back to Bucharest we will do a tour here again ✌️👌

Salt Mines etc - The Salt Mines were amazing, how they excavated them and the entire experience was worth seeing. They are huge! The Monastery and supposed "grave" of Vlad the Impaler AKA Count Dracula, was small and nice, but not sure its worth the additional fee, especially since they charge you to take pictures. Lunch was good, and there was a lot of it. For $42 USD, I had a main pork dish, dessert and 2 glasses of wine.
