Well worth it, a great trip - We had such a fantastic day and we're well looked after by Vlad the driver and Eugen our guide. We absolutely loved seeing Dracula's castle, and we thought all the stops had a good amount of time available at each one. The drive has a stop about halfway to use the toilet and buy some food which was appreciated. We also loved hearing all the facts and interesting stories from Eugen. Thank you so much, we have a great day!

Well worth the money - First off, this is a really long day of 12 hours minimum so don’t make any dinner reservations as it’s highly likely you won’t be back until around 20:30. Secondly purchase your tickets on line for both castles before you set out particularly if you have no internet roaming. Once you are underway, you do get a fabulous commentary on the itinerary for the day as well as Romanian history. Dan our guide was very knowledgeable, funny and entertaining as well as looking after as all. We went in November. There was snow on the ground and the walk to the Castles, particularly Peles, was very slippery….however that was the price of incredibly picturesque scenery. The two castles are very different as one was a household and the other a fortress…..both are beautiful and spectacular. Brasov is so very pretty. This is where you will purchase a late lunch as part of your free time…..go for Micci and mustard. Wonderful. As said it’s a long day and being on time is critical…..but it’s well worth it for the photo memories alone.

A September to remember by: Peles Castle - Brasov - Dracula's Castel - A fantastic Trip and with excellent tour guide - Vlad and a super calm driver-Dan. I made a booking last minute as I did not plan my trip in advance before entering Bucharest. I had a blast experience. The tour was packed with about 45 people. I think I was among the solo traveler. But Vlad was able to provide his best efforts and attention to all 45 people. Peles Castle was astonishing. I was a blown away with the architecture and design and the materials used. Gran Castle was another great castle brought for you a memorable experience. I had a long-13 hours trip, but it was a great and pleasant experience. I can not trade with other experience. Until we meet again with another fabulous journey.

Great overview of Transylvania - Excellent day-long tour to Transylvania with an excellent guide, Gabriel. Highly recommended! It would have been nice to have more time in Brasov, but this is a full day as it is. I was picked up at my hotel at 7:30 and did not return until 9:30, although vacation traffic in the Carpathian mountains delayed our return. While I enjoyed Bran Castle, they allow too many people to enter at a time, each room and passageway was very crowded. Bran castle is NOT handicapped accessible. Our group was small, only 7 persons. Gabriel was very knowledgeable and flexible. He made me want to return to Romania and experience more of this beautiful country.

Good - It was nice to have a guide and transportation for the price. I do wish we had more time in Peles and Brasov though. Possibly starting the tour at 6am rather than 7:30 so you have 45min extra at each place. That being said, I would recommend this tour. Our guide Monica was wonderful!

Dracula’s Castle - Nice experience. The castle is nice. They made a good effort to tell the history of the place. Parking is easy by car. About 3 hours from Bukarest. There is a small market with souvenirs. Advice, visit the haunted house at the base. Its a bit hidden about 30 meters before there where they sell the tickets. Its a funny experience.

A long day - This trip is a long day - leave just after 7pm and back at 10pm. You get to see the two castles and Brasov. The balance was out a bit - too long at the first castle at the expense of Dracula's castle and exploring Brasov. Dracula's castle was packed so really uncomfortable, especially with a 45 min window to see. I wouldn't recommend going in if busy. I loved Brasov and would have liked longer there - you live and learn. I would highly recommend booking a train and going to Brasov for at least one night as it is super cute. Despite what I thought of the tour, I thought our tour guide was excellent and our driver was lovely.
