A great day to Transylvania - This was a full day! For a small price we got to see so much, and had the sweetest tour guide. She told us very informative facts about our visits, she tried to help us out with our trip and gave us tips for the remaining of our stay in her country. A great experience! Thank you

Awesome tour - We thoroughly enjoyed this trip. Eugen was a very knowledgeable and thoughtful guide - speaking in fluent English and Italian. We enjoy long drives, just gazing out the window at the scenery, and this was perfect for us. Peles Castle was amazing inside, but was covered in scaffolding for renovations at the time we went. We have to say that the guy checking tickets at the entrance to the castle was very rude to my wife, thinking she had tried to sneak in, but there was no indication that he had any official capacity and everyone just piled in the door. That was the only thing we didn't like. Bran castle was interesting, but does play on the tenuous Dracula links. Access to both castles, in particular Bran, are up steep hills, so if you are disabled, this is probably not for you. Brasov was lovely once in the old part of town, and we had a lovely meal outside. To be honest, this tour was so affordable that I was doubting what the quality would be like, but it was FANTASTIC, and I'd recommend it.

Well worth it, a great trip - We had such a fantastic day and we're well looked after by Vlad the driver and Eugen our guide. We absolutely loved seeing Dracula's castle, and we thought all the stops had a good amount of time available at each one. The drive has a stop about halfway to use the toilet and buy some food which was appreciated. We also loved hearing all the facts and interesting stories from Eugen. Thank you so much, we have a great day!

Well worth the money - First off, this is a really long day of 12 hours minimum so don’t make any dinner reservations as it’s highly likely you won’t be back until around 20:30. Secondly purchase your tickets on line for both castles before you set out particularly if you have no internet roaming. Once you are underway, you do get a fabulous commentary on the itinerary for the day as well as Romanian history. Dan our guide was very knowledgeable, funny and entertaining as well as looking after as all. We went in November. There was snow on the ground and the walk to the Castles, particularly Peles, was very slippery….however that was the price of incredibly picturesque scenery. The two castles are very different as one was a household and the other a fortress…..both are beautiful and spectacular. Brasov is so very pretty. This is where you will purchase a late lunch as part of your free time…..go for Micci and mustard. Wonderful. As said it’s a long day and being on time is critical…..but it’s well worth it for the photo memories alone.

Evaluation of my excursion to Dracula Castle and other interesting places in the Carpathians - It is a very pleasant excursion, which allows you to get a global idea of the mountain landscape of the Carpathians, of the beautiful city of Brasov, as well as appreciate two castles very different from each other. The castle of Peles is extremely modern and refined, in which the architecture and delicate interior decoration in wood in the Bavarian style stands out. In contrast, in the Dracula, we find a medieval castle/village, more indefinite in style, more rustic and eclectic in nature because of the successive constructions that have been added over the centuries. As for Brasov, highlight the beauty of the historic quarter in a style with Bavarian reminiscences, with the presence of an interesting Gothic church. In the general negative aspects comment two aspects. In the village where the Castle of "Dracula" is located they have exceeded the number of kiosks selling products and restaurants, to the point that it is difficult to get a view of the castle because the constructions prevent you. A second issue is that tour operators should coordinate so that all groups do not coincide at the same time in Peles Castle. In our case, we went on a Saturday and had to wait almost an hour to get in. On the positive side, our guide, Ana, was very effective in transmitting the information, and in quoting and monitoring the group at each stop, which avoided unnecessary delays. It gave us interesting information throughout the itinerary, both from a practical and cultural point of view, especially that related to castles, their history and the historical context. He is also characterized by being a very nice person who expresses himself very well and shows great empathy. In short, it is highly recommended. Also note that the driver showed great dexterity on the narrowest and most mountain roads, as well as excellent punctuality at each stop. Finally, comment that the organizing company effectively managed the excursion at a reasonable price. For all the above I have put 4 stars in my review. J. Luis

Good - It was nice to have a guide and transportation for the price. I do wish we had more time in Peles and Brasov though. Possibly starting the tour at 6am rather than 7:30 so you have 45min extra at each place. That being said, I would recommend this tour. Our guide Monica was wonderful!

A long day - This trip is a long day - leave just after 7pm and back at 10pm. You get to see the two castles and Brasov. The balance was out a bit - too long at the first castle at the expense of Dracula's castle and exploring Brasov. Dracula's castle was packed so really uncomfortable, especially with a 45 min window to see. I wouldn't recommend going in if busy. I loved Brasov and would have liked longer there - you live and learn. I would highly recommend booking a train and going to Brasov for at least one night as it is super cute. Despite what I thought of the tour, I thought our tour guide was excellent and our driver was lovely.
