All great - The leader and the driver were very good and we had a great time on this long trip. People may consider very long lines at each boarders.

Great time to be had, even with the stairs! - This was a last-minute addition to our sisters' and daughters' trip. Our tour guide, Matthew, was warm and friendly and engaged well with the group of us. He kept us entertained during the long drive and made sure we were all taken care of at each stop. There was ample free time to look around, and ample time to tour. It was a great balance.

Wonderful tour - It was a really nice tour. Mathew (Matei) our guide was knowledgeable and a really pleasant guy. Explained as well as answered questions. The stops were interesting, some nature and landmarks. Some free time for lunch and shopping as well. A little hike to the church and citadel but easy even for seniors like us. It was a group of 7, the others on the tour were nice Italian youngsters. I'm happy I was able to also experience Bulgaria!

Excellent Day Trip from Bucharest! - I was in Bucharest for a few days about a week ago and was excited that you can actually take a day trip and visit a whole other country! After a week and a half of heavy travel this excursion was perfect. A friend and I met up with Valentine, our driver/guide at a spot near to my hotel. Valentine was a perfect combination of being friendly, insightful, helpful, and funny every step of the way. We saw interesting sights, learned a lot about the local history, and ate some delicious food at the end of the day. I overwhelmingly suggest doing this trip if you have the time.

Good - Trip was good and tour guide, Eugene, was great. The only issue was that the AC compressor in the mini bus went out (broke) early during the trip, making it very hard and hot for 5 plus hours in a car with no AC in 34 to 35 degrees (90 plus degree Fahrenheit).

A long bus trip but worthwhile - Our destination was Veliko Tarnovo; A world Heritage site and one of the oldest citiest in Bulgaria. The bus was comfortable, driver good and boarder passing quick. Started with lunch which was excellent. We chose Bulgarian dishes and with fine view over the Jantra river. Thereafter we walked up the hill very steep in 37 degrees to visit the fortress and the church. Veliko Tarnovo is refferd as the City of the Tsars.

Need a better guide - Overall the experience about visiting the different places was great. The guide was not very knowledgeable about the places and did not do a great job communicating with the group.
