Barsana Monastery - After breakfast, start your Maramures excursion in the morning.
Your first stop will be at Barsana Monastery, one of the area’s most important monasteries, showcasing local culture and wood carving skills.
Visit a local wood carver, one of the few craftsmen in the area, to learn about wood carving in Maramures.
Muzeul Tarancii Romane - Arrive at Dragomiresti Museum to learn more about Maramures culture through a visit to a traditional house with its customary belongings.
Next, visit the local whirlpool to see how locals wash their clothes and rugs.
Merry Cemetery - Conclude your day at the Merry Cemetery, where your guide will read humorous stories of the people buried there. Established in 1947, this cemetery offers a unique perspective on the afterlife, focusing on humor rather than sorrow.

Manastirea Voronet - Enjoy a warm breakfast before departing for the Bucovina region. On the way, pass through Tihuta Pass, which offers stunning views of Bucovina.
Arrive in Gura Humorului and visit the Voronet Monastery, one of the area’s most famous monasteries, built by the renowned ruler of Moldova, Stephan the Great. During his reign, he constructed over 300 monasteries, many of which are in Bucovina.

Moldovita Monastery - After breakfast, head to Moldovita Monastery, a UNESCO Heritage site. Our guide will explain the historical and religious significance of the exterior paintings.

Bran Castle (Dracula’s Castle) - In the morning, visit Bran Castle, also known as Dracula’s Castle, to explore this medieval fortress. After the tour, enjoy free time in the market in front if you wish.
Peles Castle - Arrive at Peles Palace in Sinaia to tour one of Romania’s finest palaces. This 19th-century palace was built by Romania’s first king.
Return to Bucharest in the afternoon.
