More history rather than dark side - It was a lot of fun. A bunch of people cancelled right before which was super lame but our tour guide still made it awesome! He shared his favorite parts of the city and my husband and I learned so much. They said to tip but didn’t say how much. The tour guide said most people tip around 10-20 euros. We wished we would’ve exchanged more but we didn’t know what was typical. So hopefully this is helpful.

Hidden gems of a walking tour. - As usual a walking tour is a great, low cost way to see parts of a city you normally wouldn't find. Sebastian our tour guide took time to explain many details of our trip and did with great expertise. He also pointed out along the way places to eat as the locals do. Nice pace.

Entertainment - The tour guide was great in terms of performance. He started with apologising for his English (he was from Jamaica) and then proceeded to issue one printable sentence after another, very impressive. His comedic timing was also great. All in all a very fun show. The only fly in the ointment was that a lot of the history presented sounded quite different compared what I could find online afterwards. For example: That the architect of the city hall killed himself is a legend; his manner of death is not clearly known. The story of Gabrielle Petit reads quite different on Wikipedia (and still interesting). How Pieter Breughel the Elder died is also not known, but suicide is unlikely given that he was buried normally.
