Worth the trip - Lots of stairs to the second floor but the pace was nice and there was a ton of great info. An abundance of chocolate as well! 10 out of ten stars!

Delicious FUN! - Anna did a wonderful job of teaching us how to make our own delicious Belgian chocolate truffles. She was charming and knowledgeable. Our entire e working with her and with each other. Such a lovely way to spend our afternoon in Brussels!

Belgium for the chocolate lover a hands on experience - My 23 year old daughter and I totally enjoyed our hour and a half making 24 truffles with chocolate of excellent quality. We met lovely people, the tutor was reassuring fun and professional. A great way to spend a rainy afternoon.

Great option! - It was really fun to learn. Our host was very lively and played Christmas music. She was very helpful and patient. I appreciated that I (since I was alone) was able to work on my own truffles rather than being paired with someone.

Super fun Belgian truffle- making - What a fun, hands-on way of participating in an iconic Belgian pastime: chocolate-making! In 1.5 hrs, you are able to make delicious truffles using top-of-the-line Belgian chocolate. There’s even a bonus hot chocolate making experience as you wait for your truffle chocolate to set. In the end, despite the imperfectly shaped balls, you get to taste and bring home your own hand-made Belgian chocolate truffles!

English language and baking experience helpful in creative experience - Overall it was a pleasant experience due in part to the humor of an American couple also participating in the event. The instructor spoke to quickly for those who did not have English as a native language (my partner). If such people do not have experience in cooking/baking this could be a difficult experience. Irritating was that the instructor disappeared into the kitchen to check on her smartphone while we were left to our own devices. As a result I had to go consult her on a number of occasions to ensure that we were not going wrong. She was friendly as I interrupted however I did not like this feeling of having to interrupt her surfing. The instructor should always be in the same room moving from participant group to participant group. With our combined skills (language and baking) we go through the exercise quite well. Without this combination it would have been difficult (as for another couple who were stuck with a very salty hot chocolate!)

Fun activity but too expensive - We did truffles and hot chocolate making. Pros- it was great to hear the history of chocolate and explanation of the percentage of cocoa solids etc. It was fun making the truffles and hot chocolate and they both tasted great. I really enjoyed the hot chocolate. The music played in the background was great and created a fun atmosphere. Cons- the facilitator seemed a bit distracted. She gave a fairly quick explanation of what to do and pointed us to the recipe and instruction cards on the table then she disappears into the back office. She came to check on our group a few times, but I would expect for the expensive money I paid that the facilitator would be there consistently to help us and advise us. Some items like milk and utensils were missing and group members had to tell the facilitator who "forgot" to bring them out. Again one would imagine you prep everything properly before a class. It was great to meet other students in the class and have a little chat but I think the atmosphere could have been even more fun and lively and the price is far too expensive for what the activity is.
